Crescendo sighed again. "I'm sorry, Dalad, but I don't think I can change their minds. If you don't mind, I'd love to be your friend, though! Oh - I didn't ask. Rlyan, can I be your friend? I kind of just assume most of the time."

He hadn't been scared. Funny. "Wouldn't it?"

"Can't assassins be Radiants? Honorable ones? Do you know your spren's name, Dalad?"

"Of course. The kitchen's just over here." Crescendo gestured toward the doors. "I recommend their bread." She smiled.

Crescendo sighed and rolled her eyes. "I'm a Dustbringer, for the Stormfather's sake, and I know that you need to trust someone."

"He's said he wouldn't." Crescendo stepped forward and offered her hand to shake.

Concerto leapt toward the man, slashing his claws just in front of his face. He watched the man's reaction carefully. "I said, don't call me kitty."

Crescendo smiled. "Yeah, that's all right. Although it does feel sort of like prejudice... It's nice to meet you, Dalad!"

Concerto hissed and his claws unsheathed. "Don't call me kitty. I think you can all free yourselves just fine."
