T begins to put shields random places, sending them flying. T feels Queen's enhancement and perks up slightly. Ember materializes flames in space, and on Aridith's throne.

Your magic system sounds interesting. It doesn't seem similar to Brandon's magic systems to me. I also don't usually compare books, unless asked. -
