"Well, uh..." Fadran placed his hand on Fox's forehead and started Healing, "if you guys keep hurting yourselves, then I am going to catch a nasty cold with all this Health siphoning. I'm almost out of hot chocolate antibiotics!" He takes a sip from his flask and shivers. "Scud. It's cold anyways." -

"Mmhmm, mmhmm..." she scribbled something down on her clipboard, "are you a loyal friend, do you think?" "Right now? Not with much. I guess if you ever find anything interesting, just let me know. For now, though... well, I'm hungry, and dinner's soon."

"Thank you, honey. Now you go ahead and sit down on that fancy leather couch I have set up? Make yourself comfy." "You can go sit on one of those chairs, or... something." Jeana waved her hand dismissively.

"Now wait just a minute here," Jeana says, peering at the hair, "by Merlin's beard, is that what I think it is?"

"Pushy pushy!" Jeana stands up straight. "Just hold up there, sister, we wouldn't want to get all messy up in here. I'sa got a quota to fill, and I can't be filing away wandworkings out in prison, can I? Now this young man..." She bends over to take a look at Alex. "Hmm... I think I could dock a good fifty percent off of his wand if you want your favor to pay up the other half."

"Mmm-mm it won't, honey. Making these wands is hard enough on ol' mother bird. Making one wand is hard enough, but you want two? Honestly, you'd think that a favor's worth a week's rent in gold nowadays. I could getcha one of those wands half off for the mess you got me out of; maybe a buy one get one deal if you ask real nicely." She suddenly sees Alex. "Now, wait a minute; who's this handsome young feller?" @Negative_Null

Fadran pushed open the door to the medbay, walking inside. He looked down at Fox's unconscious form. "How many comatose people are we going to have to deal with on this adventure?"

"I'm saying that if someone was... murdered by a wizard, then if you preserved the body and performed Priori Incantatum, you might be able to return a soul to its body. The concept is all right... it's just the execution that I have no idea how to perform."

"It's... like I said and you pointed out... far-fetched. See, there are ways of bringing back souls; there are ways of getting souls to manifest themselves back in this world. Ghosts enough are proof of this, but they aren't the only examples." She reached into her bag and brought out a copy of The Tales of Beetle the Bard. "The Resurrection Stone, for one, brings the souls of your loved ones back to you, but nobody knows what happened to that, so that possibility won't work. My best theory and evidence of this is Priori Incantatum." She pointed to a paper on her billboard. "It's a rare occurence between brother wands when their magic connects and protects either user from harming the other. During this time, any people that a wand has killed return, if only briefly. I think... and this is a longshot... I think that there's some connection between the fact that wands represent a user's soul and how only brother wands can create this event... it's just too big of a coincidence to not mean anything!"

Janice tried to get up, but her leg broke out, and she collapsed again. Tears washed down her, pain throbbed through her leg, and determination flashed across her eyes. "LEAVE. HER. ALONE!!!" Janice screamed again, then hurled her dagger at Kade's back.

"LEAVE. HER. ALONE!" Janice cried. She collapsed down again, screaming as the bullets sent bursts of pain through her leg. "LEAVE US ALONE!!"

Janice shrieked, collapsing. Her hands immediately leapt to her leg, but through the agony and tears, she glared upwards at Kane, then got to her feet and stabbed his arm with her dagger. She was used to the pain by now.

Jeana frowns. "That wouldn't happen to be the kid who saved my hide from those alley thugs a few years back?"
