  1. "Yes, a... he's calling it the Macrosmos Order of Intrigue. Apparently all you have to do to gain access to all the information it compiles is register yourself into their member data. The basic idea is just to create a Macrosmos-wide organization that shares information with anyone who wants it. Simple as that."
  2. "Approximately when you all kind of... ganged up. You don't exactly hear about one individual as much as you hear about a group of them, so I wasn't looking for anybody until you became a group."
  3. "Well, how often has a group of people leading a small army of children and trying to keep fabrial plans away from an evil organization stopped to talk to a random man named Chris in the middle of the street?"
  4. Iode, dressed in black, waited impatiently in an alleyway. He fingered his letter anxiously, glancing at the guards out on the street. They were currently haggling with an old lady, trying to get themselves a special discount on her home-baked bread because of their 'protection.' They were abusing their powers, of course; most guards did. It wouldn't be like two lazy volunteers to check every alleyway, but if they found him in here, they would search him, and what they would find would likely put Iode through the dungeons and gallows. He could defend himself, of course, but violence was to be avoided at all costs; violence led to rioting, and rioting led to death. Someone dropped into the shadows behind him. Iode turned calmly to the newcomer. "Ayia. You're late again." "It's hard to be on time when the watchtowers are being manned with twice as many people as usual. What have you got for me?" Iode passed her two letters. "Keep this one," he told her, handing her Fadran's, "and pass this one to Nox." He handed her the one he had written himself. Ayia looked them over. "I take it this is a 'matter of great importance?'" "That it is. Try not to get caught and killed." "When have I ever done that?" Ayia smiled, then cast a metal line to the heavens and soared off. Iode smiled, then turned around to see the two guards marching towards his alleyway. They had seen Ayia use her Traveline. "Hello, officers," Iode said, "how may I help you today?" "You're under arrest," the first said simply, grabbing his arms and binding them, "for conspiring with witches and receiving ExtoUniversal letters." Iode sighed. "I was afraid of that." He let the guards carry him away to his fate. At least he passed the information along--his old friend's idea would live on.
  5. "Calm down! Calm down! I've just been following your group and keeping tabs on what you've been doing. I haven't shared anything with anyone other than Fadran, and I haven't sent anything sensitive to anyone."
  6. "Alright. To begin, I guess I'll explain Fadran's crazily ludicrous idea to you. Basically, he wants to start a Macrosmos-wide organization called the Order of Intrigue. The idea is to compile information from the myriads of universes for public study and use. He hopes to accomplish a way to keep everyone Macrosmos-aware out of the dark of potential threats and whatnot. He... has a bunch of ranks and stuff listed here, too, but those aren't super important right now. "Because he happened to be in Scadrial, he reached out to me to push along his idea. I've been watching you and some others for a few days now--not in a stalkerish way--and sent him some information regarding what I've seen." Chris sat back. "So... you want in?"
  7. Who else feels the raw, eminating power from the blue Moderator rank? And who else feels like they were stucks between two neutron star without so much as a dab of sunscreen at the sight of the red Head Admin rank?
  8. "I guess I will." Fadran free-falls backwards into the portal like the true show-off he is.
  9. "Upstairs, to the right, behind the secret back of the broken shower stall. I'll lead the way." Fadran leads them to the portal.
  10. "Great! Saddle up, everybody; we're going to Threnody!"
  11. "Great! How do you feel about soul-sucking ghosts?"
  12. "Probably not. We're here." Chris held up his card to another slot between some bricks, and opened another secret door; this one leading to a large room lit by an electric chandelier. The conditions weren't fancy, but they were comfortable. "Have a seat; we have a lot to talk about."
  13. "I imagine some of the Silverlight scholars know, but I haven't exactly asked them. As for the mailmen thing..." He chuckled. "No. Fadran just has his ways of teleporting mail to where he needs it to be."
  14. "Right, right." He looks at Noche. "Want to have your first adventure with the crew?" @Condensation
  15. "Oh, I know plenty of people who travel the Macrosmos all the time! That one guy specifically. He's thrown together a group, recently, and he sent me this." He pulled a letter out of his pocket and held it up for Radriarc to see. "He's creating a... coalition of sorts."
  16. "The friend's just a random ex-soldier ex-merchant I met. He's... kind of like a worldhopper, but not exactly. Have you heard of the Macrosmos?"
