    Honestly, she hadn't expected her first attack to miss - suddenly, her stave was headed right at Variance. Well that's not good. Ayia Stabalized her staff, then heaved herself through the air across it to send a flying kick at her.

    In an instant Ayia snapped a metal quarterstaff into existence, spinning it over her head to build up momentum before sending it whistling at the assailant's head.
