  1. Fadran smiles to himself as they leave together.
  2. Fadran sends marshmallow after marshmallow, preparing a can of whipped cream just in case.
  3. "What's that?" Leonie asked innocently, pointing to whatever it was Selia was hiding.
  4. Fadran increased the height of his stone fortifications, knocking out battlements behind which he could throw his marshmallows from. Beside him, Queen lobbed marshmallow after marshmallow at the incoming couple. "They're almost on top of us!" Fadran launches more marshmallows at them with his air cannon.
  5. Fadran fired a stream of goopy whipped cream mixed with melted marshmallow right into her face.
  6. Fadran tried burning the marshmallows out of the air, but when that didn't work, he opted to create a gust of wind to launch marshmallows back at them at high speeds.
  7. "Great!" Fadran began rapid-throwing marshmallows at Herate and Daolan.
  8. "I'm not a child, either! I'm a rare gray area creature known as a 'weirdo.'"
  9. Fadran snorted. "Bold of you to assume I'm a man."
  10. "Come on, Noche!" Fadran called. "We need backup!"
  11. Summiting the staircase, Fadran took in a whiff of ocean air. "To Sel, next." He decided aloud.

  15. Mini Lesson 1: Tell, don't show! Have you ever heard the old adage "a thousand pictures tells just one word"? Good! It's the most important thing an author can remember as they write their story. It's far easier to say something than to show something, and if it's easy, then it's good! Show: Tell: Boom! See? Amazing, no? I think the best example of this strategy is The Last Airbender movie. It was far easier for the scriptwriters to have Katara narrate Aang's backstory than to give us a flashback, which means that it was the better choice!
