    Ellis jumped backwards, reassessing the situation.

    Wendy walked up to Caden, escorted by his guards. "What? What is it?"

    Ayia darted to the side, keeping out of Camelia's range. She watched and waited for an opening, studying what kind of patterns the kid was employing.

    Ayia leaped off her staff, deStabilizing it and pulling it with her in a way that kinda broke the third law of physics. She hit the ground at a roll and started running in an arc around Camelia.

    "Then I guess the forces of darkness that you were fighting were just sorely incompetent." Selil said.

    Ayia kept her distance, waiting for Camelia to start using allomancy.

    Ayia, being the big-brained warrior that she was, caught the rope and let it tangle around only one arm. From there, she swung down from her staff and started running.

    Scraps! Ayia thought to herself in the very anime-like split second while Camelia ran forwards. Her cape can steal things? We'll just see what she thinks about that. She jumped to the side and ran around in a wide arc. The regular movement felt sloppy and pathetic, but it'd have to do for now. Ayia leaped up, grabbed her still-floating staff, and swung onto it, perched like a bird. Letting out a breath, she watched to see what Camelia did next.

    Ayia sprang towards the kid, not wasting any time. She leapt into the air, swinging her staff in a wide overhead arc down onto Camilla's head. Before it came down completely, though, Ayia Stabilized and swung around the now-suspended staff, flipping straight over Camilla and landing behind her. She summoned another staff, swinging backwards at the kid's legs without looking.

    Ayia followed, dropping into a stance designed to start off quick. She didn't know how capable this kid was, but if they were at all as skilled as they claimed to be, then underestimating them wouldn't be a very good idea.

    "Unless you'd rather duke it out in this tiny tent."

    "You? Versus me?" Ayia summoned her metal staff. "If you're sure."

    "So as long as you guys are careful, nobody's getting themselves exploded?"

    "Is this awakening thing dangerous?"

    Ayia poked her head inside the tent, face contorting into a confused glare. "What in the world is going on in here?"

    Ayia punched him in the arm, then jogged off to where she had last seen those kids.

    Ayia let go of him, then leaned forward and placed a friendly kiss on his cheek. "I'm gonna go find those kids and make sure they don't blow anything up. See you around."

    "I guess we should probably stop hugging before it gets awkward."

    "Yes. Every individual strand."

    "I cut mine with sheer willpower."
