Lots of soldiers raised their hands. "Great!" Ayia declared. "Because I have a wonderful solution: work."

Ayia wiggled her eyebrows with a grin, then turned back to face the crowd of soldiers. "Raise your hand if you're bored!"

"You mean I can chat with Harmony?"

"Great!" "T is Ember's girlfriend."

"I guess we'll find out." "We're just going to try to renovate the camp. Once we get something going we'll give you some folks to go find T with you."

"Yeah, sure. We're about to have a big meeting now, though, so..."

Adrienne sighed and held out her hand. "I'll put it in."

"How would it do that? I'm pretty sure there aren't any metalic arts that do that sort of thing."

"Military gathering," Ayia corrected. "Which is basically a party just with sharp war impliments."

"What the heck is it? What'll it do?"

Ayia cleared her throat. "Good morning, everyone!"

"How do you intend to fight against tyranny without an army? Or with a party, for that matter?"

"Here we are!" Ayia announced, presenting a large, grassy area. It was filled with the soldiers she'd sent Camelia to find.

"Some of us do."

"It's not an official challenge in my homeworld, but punching people does tend to start brawls that result in one person dead and the other person incredibly bloody."

"I don't think that the chain of command should be determined by magical-ness. I doubt Fadran would make getting ahead easier for people who happen to have magic." "Negotiating with primordial gods. He tends to do that sort of thing often."

"No. Fadran's the magic system guy; I'm just the girl that punches things with magic."

"Interesting. We'll have to work on finding out what your power is, then."

"Just about everyone here has magical powers, kid. You wouldn't happen to have any, would you?"

"We're going to try making some cabins or buildings of sorts," Ayia said, gesturing at the tents. "Maybe work in some recreational areas. We don't really know yet."
