    I'd rather not go to prison in the first place.

    I don't know! I've never been to prison before! Alex racked his brain. Wind and force field powers. We could try to make a break for it, maybe? Where would we go?

    "And why not? You guys still--" her voice caught. "Y'know... care about each other... right?"

    "Scared? Angry? Feel different about you?" Leonie scooched a little closer to her. "I'm just a little sad that you didn't think you could trust me."

    ...prison? Isn't that where soldiers usually take people they arrest?

    Janice crossed her arms. "Well I think you both started it. And you're going to finish it." She stamped her foot impatiently. "Right now."

    "Okay." Leonie kept knocking her knees together. "Why didn't you tell anyone?" Why didn't you tell me?

    Janice's chin started to quiver slightly, but then she set her jaw and yelled, "WHY ARE YOU TWO ALWAYS ARGUING WITH EACH OTHER?!?"

    "Are you telling the truth?"

    If we don't show them to the soldiers, they'll probably arrest all of us.

    "We give them a day or so to rest and then start all over again." Fadran looked around. "We'll have the soldiers who didn't help work the building process work out the intererior for now; have a day-on, day-off schedule for everyone."

    Fadran began applauding the soldiers, giving them an excuse to cheer. He leaned in towards Martin and whispered, "cheering is a really good motivator."

    "Well alright!" Fadran said, wiping some sweat off his brow and overlooking the new medical building. "I'd say that this is a notch and a half above the old med tent."

    "Let's start with a montage." Fadran snapped his fingers.

    "That might sound like a better idea if it weren't for two things." Fadran held up a couple fingers. "Thing one: we need Wyrn to play his hand. He's been allying with the Vibrant Threads and Fenon, which can't be good. We need to see what he has and what he's capable of, as well as why these two empires are so interested in him. Thing two: the soldiers here wouldn't stand a chance against Wyrn in their current state. We need to boost morale before going into battle, not after."

    "Rearrange which ones?"

    "It looks like we're starting by renovating the camp. Then, once we boost the soldiers' standard of living, we'll go out and recruit some more people. From there, we're gonna punch Wyrn in the face."
