1: Talent is intrinsic, ability is acquired

Some people will say that talent is a pursued interest. This is false. To believe that every person is equally capable of everything is demeaning to those who did not succeed, and will disappoint you in the end.

2: Pursue your dreams

To believe is to have hope, and to have hope is to succeed. Even if you fall short in the end, you will have learned a valuable lesson. Never cease trying for fear of failure.

3: Stop to breathe

If you find yourself exhausted from your efforts, do not overextend yourself. Instead, remember that no one can be perfect forever and wait for when you are ready.

4: Remember your purpose

All creatures have a purpose, whether it be predestined or forged by their own hand. When in darkness, look to yourself for light.

5: Seek understanding

To speak of something you do not know is hypocrisy. Always search for further knowledge to guide your thougths and actions.

6: Remember the dreams of others

Yours are not the only desires and goals in the world. To glimpse another's dreams is to realize their inner truths. Help, not hinder, your friends to achieve their goals.

7: You and everything are one

Those who seek to be themselves often do so in spite of the world. Do not believe that you are the only island amidst the sea of other: you and the world are irrevocably intertwined. Seek balance between yourself and the universe.

8: Do not spurn unholy thoughts

Some people believe that to involuntarily think harsh judgements and unclean things is a sin. Do not demean yourself for the uncontrollable. Instead, seek to better yourself; to grow, rather than shrink.

9: Search for connections

All things are woven into the grand pattern of reality. To understand the nature of the world and worlds beyond, piece together that which can be connected and expand from there.

10: Accept what you cannot know

It is impossible to understand and experience all things. To believe that you can imagine it all is folly. You must accept this to learn what you can and understand its significance against infinity.

11: Continue to live

Do not be so caught up in the search for truth and meaning that you forget the world you live in. You cannot change where you are, no matter how much you learn and grow. To stop, wait, and see is to experience everything in a moment, even if it teaches you nothing. Knowledge for its own sake is power, but so is nothing for its own.
