  1. "Uhhh... currently? Not much. We're just sitting around and waiting for everyone to get their socks and shoes on so we can actually start punching the bad guys."
  2. Elya sucked in a nervous breath, held it for a moment, then pushed it back out as she finished sterilizing the last wounds. “Right. Verim?” @Fallapede
  3. Would you like to know what I would do with a system like this? Just for a second opinion or whatevs.

  7. "What kind of things have you had to take care of? How have you prepared them first?"
  8. "Without proper dressing and careful moderation, this could go from bad to worse in just as long as it takes you to do it. Infections could spread unchecked, she could bleed out, the--this--" Elya sucked in a breath. "Have you ever tried this before?"

It's not something that can be individually-controlled, though. But it can be installed into machinery and weapons to create with all sorts of nasty effects."
  12. "Mostly recruited soldiers. Local scabs, conscripted criminals, bullies... that sort of thing. With enough provocation they'd call in an actual military to do the job, but most strut their own power around enough to have become somewhat desensitized to insurrection; hence why this resistance is still up and running."
  13. "Not here. This is important to an extent, but not essential." Fadran seemed to be getting a bit more miffed. "We don't. Not for a surety. But guesswork has taken us farther than you might think."
