She tried to nod, but her chin ended up barely dipping to the side. Taking in a breath, Elya squeezed her eyes shut for just a moment, trying to find any ounce of strength she might have left.
Apparently, there wasn't any.
Pain rushed her from every slice on her body. A strained, weak grimace eked its way out her mouth--like a halfhearted scream through gritted teeth. Every muscle seized up, straining, leaving her without air. As it passed, Elya let out an aggravated gasp of breath. She panted, breath toned and cracked, through the next few excruciating moments.
"C-can..." Elya's arms shook as she weakly gestured at the closest hammock. "Stay here for... a minute?"
