    "We're not about to get attacked. It's currently watching us. It'll attack when it finishes weighing the amount of energy is has to put in versus the amount it'll get by eating us." Vance fell into a stance regardless. "Or so my crazy sister tells me. Bunny lady! Do you have weapons or magic or something?"

    Vance brought out two large-ish knives. "Do these look ilke swords to you?"

    Quendi observed her 'companions' quietly. They'd been kind enough to let her tag along and get some research in. For most of the ride she'd been scribbling down notes about the trees, but now they were searching for metals? With some form of enchanted rods. She hadn't seen anything quite like them yet. "What enchantments did you use to give those rods such properties?" She asked.

    "What?" He looked very (understandably) confused. "That roar from earlier? That's a dorgrin. No, I don't speak it. Who was screaming? Are you okay?"

    Vance finally stumbled into the clearing after about what they assumed was nineteen and a half hours of searching. "Ho! Hokay..." They were panting.

    "Holy gosh hecking heck!" Vance scrambled out of the foliage and ran towards... wherever the screaming had come from. "Hello? Anyone? Are you okay???"

    I am going to mandate this: Magic systems are all localized to an extent. Often they are genetic, and when they aren't they're only practiced by certain cultures. It is certainly possible to possess more than one form of magic, but doing so would require either a mixed bloodline or to fully participate in another culture for long enough to learn their magic.

    Content with the situation in Serinitas, the kingdom of Name-Ed invades their neighbor to the east, Quonshi. With the Demigods on their side, they are certain of their victory. Quonshi is a much smaller country, and they have little chance at survival against such overwhelming odds. However, they were never expecting to face a powerful army like this. The Demigods quickly crush Quonshi's armies, killing every last soldier. As the victorious Name-Ed forces advance upon Quonshi, they encounter a strange new species of creature: a tall, thin man with a beard. They are uncertain of what this new creature is, but they are quick to wipe it from existence. You conquered Quonshi! And then committed genocide!
