  1. Musical Theory and Classical Compositions are super interesting because I find it totally awesome whenever you can derive some kind of art from math and science.

But every time I look into it I'm constanly reminded about how impossible it is to quantify music, because all those youtube channels that break down tunes will be like "This is the chord progression, which is a common form of question and answer - a basic tenet of all musical composition," and then in the same breath will say something like, "and then they throw in this chord, which works because it sounds good" and I'm all (>._.)>

Also @DramaQueen I muchly agree - after all, I am an artist by trade

don't bring up the fact that the only money I've ever made from my art was a twenty dollar bill that I spent on a coffee mug and a couple stickers. That doesn't count

I'm also a huge fan of logical theorems and scud like that. I mean, I sometimes even enjoy doing math - and when you get into the whacky theoretical stuff, then it just gets exponentially more interesting.

Numbers are cool also is what I'm saying.

I took an AP Music Theory class last year for fun and the teacher was good but the curriculum slobbered over 18th century composers way too much and overall felt far too soulless and mechanized for what is, fundamentally, art. Plus it had really high standards for the test which is why I got a 2/5
