  1. “So you’re more murderous vigilante than assassin? And you think the necromancer is a good guy. Wonderful.”
  2. “Huh. You’re less evil than I thought. But still, you could be lying for all I know.”
  3. "How do people hire you to kill people if they have to die to do so?"
  4. "I'm sure he can give plenty of lives. He's a necromancer."
  5. "Oh yeah? And he wouldn't offer a suitable reward for me?"
  6. "Exactly! He probably offered you a job to kill me. We can't trust you."
  7. "Didn't one of my friends just die?"
  8. "What do you say? Was I happy? Are there people who will miss me?"
  9. "Poor page 1,403." Nameless hit another Platypus with the medallion. "There are only so many pages to send yourselves to."
  10. "Do you think I should want my memories back?"
  11. Nameless frowned. "Where'd you send that one?" As the Platypuses attacked, Nameless defended himself with skill acquired over hundreds of pages, standing his ground against the assault.
  12. "I'll take your word for it. Hey, can I ask you a question?"
  13. "Just yours then? Why is that?"
  14. "I know my name. It's Nameless. Is there a reason I can't read your mind?"
  15. "There are no puppies."
  16. "Aside from that time you killed my dog, yes."
  17. Joseph nodded emphatically. "Yes, I don't think we should keep Sleeper around. He likes the necromancer of all people! For all we know, he's working for him."
  18. "Okay, let me explain it better. There are these Narrators, think gods of creation. Tons of power, not very much responsibility, pretty terrible people. They make worlds, and sometimes they make worlds that you wouldn't want to go to. Which this one might be." The shadowed figure looked around nervously. "If it is one of those worlds, then we need to leave." At that moment, the wind stopped. "Interesting line of reasoning." Nameless pulled out his medallion and pressed it against one of the Platypuses, all four points of the medallion glowing briefly. "I'd back up if I were you."
  19. “I’ve lost my memory, apparently. Can you help?”
  20. “Sorry. By one of those worlds, I mean one of the really bad* ones. The ones that are made when Narrators are feeling particularly evil.” *’really bad’ is an understatement “Yes, it’s an option. I can do basically anything using a soul like yours.” Nameless merely shook his head and continued swinging, easily holding off the horde. “You still think this gives you an advantage? Let me give you a lesson in the fundamental laws of TLT. Numbers do not give you an advantage. In fact, they give you a disadvantage! The more you split, the weaker you become.” A wavering copy of Nameless appeared next to Desolation. “Hi! I’m sorry I can’t fight you right now, I have to deal with Platypus first. And after that, I have to go deal with Darkness. However, I’ll make sure to slot you in as soon as my schedule has an opening.”
  21. Nameless walked up to jar man, looking lost. “Hey, are you a doctor?”
  22. “People shouldn’t have to grow up like you did!” Joseph shook his head. “Do you want people to go through the same terrible things as you?”
  23. “You don’t make children grow up by telling them to murder people!”
  24. “No, she’s a spirit who understands the world through the lens of a child’s mind!”
  25. “She’s a child! You can’t use her as a weapon!”
