    Penelope may or may not have opened the door fearfully, eyes searching dim interior, looking for some sign on life.

    Moni stepped out of darkness into a sewer which was, for some reason, filled with watermelons sewn to the walls and floors. She let out an annoyed sigh, stepping to the side as a royal-looking pineapple wearing a hooded cloak ran past, then checked the date on her watch. Looped back again. Storms, this place is confusing. Frustrated but still resolute, she continued on. -- The possibly-not-existing pineapple may be walking down a forgotten street towards a half-destroyed hovel in which dwelled an almost-dead old man who had, in times long past, been a great ally to the pineapples. His name was long forgotten by all, and his title nearly likewise, but Penelope (if she existed) may have known it: The master of Nin.

    After much deliberation, No One indicated that the Pineapples had won the contest. This would have been cause for much celebration, if every Pineapple hadn't been killed during the competition.

    So they brought in a neutral third party to determine the rules, and thereby the winner of the confusing contest.

    The sewing/suing/sowing contest lasted for thirteen extremely confusing days, at the end of which it was time for the winner to be decided.

    The pineapple’s contestant was ann expert sewer with decades of experience. The watermelon’s contestant was a literal sewer system.

    And thus, thanks in no small part to the ever-reliable aid of a language barrier, began the greatest sewing contest ever seen.

    Subversion raised an eyebrow. “Really? How irrational.”

    Subversion frowns. "Is that book insulting my intelligence?"

    "Say, what kind of funeral should a Narrator have? I don't know that I've ever heard of one of those."

    "Yes well, something about the brave adventurer made it very difficult to recognize him as Nameless, even when you knew what Nameless looked like. I don't know him well enough, but Moni might. Ask her if you want to find Nameless' body."

    "Yeah, basically. But can you describe him based off of that image?"

    "I don't recognize that body either. Not that that says anything. Very few people were able to recognize Nameless as the brave adventurer, even among those who knew him well."

    Subversion looked at it. "I don't recognize this body."

    "Is it Nameless's body?"

    I'm a Christian so my religion is an Abrahamic religion, but on a basic level Christianity's beliefs differ from those of Islam and Judaism in that we believe Jesus is the son of God who died for our sins and rose from the dead. As for how Christianity differs from science, I don't think it does. The Bible says that God existed before the universe and created it, but it doesn't go into detail about how God created it.

    Subversion looks at him. “What do you want? And why are you holding a body?”

    Subversion snorted. “Currently, my Author has had three confirmed major character deaths. Two of those were revived, although one of those revivals was basically forced to happen by outside forces, and the other-that’s Nameless-isn’t technically a revival, as the real Nameless is still dead. That sphere is just an imprint of Nameless, and a flawed one at that. You say that my Author has a reputation for not caring about death, but I’m telling you that my Author hates that reputation. In fact, he’s told me that he’s considering killing off a character just to make the revival/death ratio a bit better.”

    "Oh, but it would be all too convenient. Letting Darkness kill me so that he can bring Nameless back easily, sure there are other ways my Author could do it, but even though he wants Nameless back, he doesn't want death to become cheap."
