  1. Darryl glanced at Ene and the boulder suspiciously, then waved his hand. The circle flashed briefly with a blinding blue light and sprayed everyone around, including Ene's boulder, with fine white powder. In the center of the circle was a black cat with white stripes.
  2. Nameless shrugged helplessly at the tree's ghost.
  3. TST has some rp in it right now.
  4. *Gasp* everyone go upvote everything that @Brandon Sanderson ever posted! This cannot stand!
  5. He might be able to, but I feel that Dalinar would be more effective using his other powers. Yeah, they could. It would be better to lash it a lot before the impact though, as I don't think lashing increases mass, but gravity.
  6. Either that or tension gave strength to Dalinar, or Dalinar was subconciously using his surges to manipulate the stone like a Stoneward could.
  7. Probably something related to his Bondsmith powers. Maybe the stone wanted to be whole, so it changed its weight?
  8. Nameless wished that the tree would be happy, that it would help others to be happy, and that the tree would have a merry Christmas.
  9. You are right that it would be overpowered, but Dalinar lifting that stone was not because of stormlight:
  10. So, I think that Lirin is very similar to Dalinar, in that he wants his son to be him but better. Dalinar likely would have yelled at Adolin if Adolin had murdered Ialia right in front of him. We see that at the end of RoW, Lirin comes to terms with the fact that Kaladin can be his own person and still be a good person, which is more than Dalinar has done.
  11. Nameless reformed the tree's ghost into a massive tree in the middle of an elven forest.
  12. Granted, here is my masque of the shadowlord. Or something like that. I forget the exact name, but basically it gives your banes to someone else, whose name I have forgotten. Your bane is that your boons will always be bad, and your banes good. I wish for a time machine that allows me to observe evets in history, but not change them.
  13. The tree into oblivion. "I HATE STUBBING MY TOE!"
  14. Granted. You accidentally PM the wrong person and die D1. I wish for one metric ton of gold to appear in my front yard.
  15. Nameless winced as he pulled his foot out from under it.
  16. Granted. Ruin gives you some inspiration, and a few spikes. I wish that I could use hemalurgic spikes to give myself powers without damaging my soul.
  17. Nameless sat in the middle of a forest of fallen trees, contemplating life.
  18. "That works. I'll have to recalibrate the spell slightly, but it shouldn't be too hard." Darryl made a few more adjustments to the circle, then stood up. "All ready!"
  19. "So...... stone?" Darryl made a few more adjustments to the circle. "Or maybe gold?"
  20. "Ah, yes. Sorry about that. I do believe that I got a little too carried away with the whole "dark lord" thing. Maybe modifying my soul was a bad idea." Darryl looked up at Medley. "What would you like to be transformed into?"
  21. "Oh yes, of course. It would be easy to undo the spell. All you would have to do would be to destroy the focus, in this case my indestructible helm of... maybe I should change the focus." Darryl knelt and began scratching out some arcane symbols in the circle, replacing them with others"
  22. "Why thank you! Say, would you like to test out the sustainment matrix for me?" Darryl glanced at the ground. "With a few adjustments, this spell could transform you into just about anything."
  23. "Oh, well, it was really tricky to make. When most people make transformative spells, they either make them instantly kill them, or simply make a containment matrix to keep their soul trapped, thereby keeping the unfortunate transformee "alive". The problem with this, however is that the soul degrades rather quickly, leading to extreme pain, insanity, and, eventually, death. To combat this, I created a sustainment matrix that should keep the soul alive and healthy. I say "should" because I've yet to test it."
  24. When Rock talked about his meeting with Hoid, he mentioned that Hoid had asked him what year it was by the Horneater calendar, so I think it's just that the horneater calendar was different.
  25. Darryl waved Medley's concerns aside, grinning evilly. "Don't worry, I spent quite a bit of time working out the solution to problems like that. Even if your soul was created an identical copy of someone else's, my spell would still be able to tell the difference by your memories and physical location. Even if you managed to make yourself identical in every way to someone else, it would simply send both of you to the void realm." He paused. "Do you really want to chat about technical stuff?"
