    Definitely. Mostly during vacations, but having a holiday that gives me a three-day weekend can often mess up my schedule.

    Unintelligible glared at the Krakatrice. "Stop leering at my Sword, and answer my question."

    The Sword in question hung at Unintelligible's side, in a sheath that was a gift from the Ghanderflaffle empire for the aid he'd given them in the Lasterafter issue.

    Unintelligible noticed him immediately, of course.

    (Unintelligible was there on vacation)

    And the great hero ookla the Unintelligible.

    In doing so, he sensed the ultimate Sword. A Sword that contained the power of all swords ever forged. A Sword that, after eating it, would make the last Krakatrice more powerful than anyone in the universe.

    After eating this, the last Krakatrice gained a new skill:

    Murder. Lots of murder.

    So he started eating butter knives.

    Unfortunately this caused him to lose all knowledge of physics.

    By puking up all the swords.
  15. NameIess
    But it also gained total knowledge of physics.

    And the sole Krakatrice loved the taste of Narrativium in the morning.

    Which really wasn't all that great. There was only one Krakatrice, after all, and Narrators were immortal.

    I'd say that Ishar's combat skill is a result of millennia of combat experience combined with amped-up reflexes from his heraldness, not precognition.

    Unfortunately, the swords were all to digested to count as swords. Fortunately, there were still Narrationblades and the like.

    The last Krakitrice embarked on a quest to eat every sword in the universe and gain ultimate knowledge.

    I definitely agree. Sigzil holding the Dawnshard is not the scenario I was responding to there.

    Which, surprisingly, turned him back into a calm, book-reading, and nonviolent member of society.

    This changed the fabric of reality, causing the Krakitrice to become violent warriors

    The Shaod's function seems to be linked to the city of Elantris. When it got messed up, so did the Shaod. When it got fixed, so was the Shaod.
