A Shade's mind and soul might be too decayed to be fully revived like this.
-
So, I noticed this WoB on silver: And I think you can understand why I find it interesting. Silver can damage and kill shades, but I didn't think that extended to all spren/cognitive entities. Apparently it does, or at least can. I'm guessing that silver doesn't have the exact same effect on spren as it does on shades, as something so immediately obvious would doubtless have been discovered by either the Radiants or the Fused during the desolations. So there has to be something more than just stabbing the spren. As to what that something more could be, I don't really know. The simplest explanation is that you'd need to use silver to cut a spren apart, while keeping it from absorbing Stormlight to heal itself. Perhaps silver is toxic to spren, and you could impale them with a ton of it. Or perhaps the method used involves investiture somehow. Whatever the case, I would be glad to hear other sharders thoughts on this WoB, and silver's place in the Cosmere.

Nameless summoned an Honorblade and used it to slam a shield into place between Thaidakar and the One Power, while simultaneously blocking his own ears with a weave of air. -

To add to what's already been said, Kaladin could use surges before saying the first oath because he had a bond with Syl already. Dalinar used Stormlight while fighting the Parshendi in WoR, similarly to Kaladin. It seems that having a spren that intends to bond you can begin the Nahel bond without oaths, although the bond could be ended much more easily than after the Radiant swears oaths.

That's possible, but leeching won't normally work on feruchemical stores unless they're being actively tapped:

I don't have any evidence, other than the fact that it seems unintuitive that a metalmind with more of a charge will not give more of a trait. However, I think this can probably be explained by an extrapolation of this WoB: According to this WoB, invested metals take more effort to burn than uninvested ones. So, if we assume that this carries over for burning them normally, then more invested metalminds would burn more slowly, meaning that they give more of the trait. So more investiture in a metalmind = more efficient usage of metal.
-
The metal's connection to Preservation grows as you store more Investiture from yourself (Which has a connection to Preservation) in it? I don't know how compounding works for certain, but I do know that compounders are a lot more powerful than you often make them out to be.

This doesn't really match up with what we've seen. apparently even a small bead of Atiu is enough to age someone back into childhood 'if used right'. Marsh has used one bag of Atium to survive for 300 years. At this point, he has to be making himself at least 250 years younger at all times. That's 8760 hours a year. (approximately, not sure if Scadrial and earth have exactly the same year length) Factoring in diminishing returns, he has to be using at least 500 stored years to make himself 250 years younger. How does he get that much F-Atium if compounding just gives out a single rate?
-
That is possible, but it seems unlikely to me. While Dawnshards as we see them have changed people, they don’t seem to fundamentally alter their personality.

Aux does not strike me as an Honorspren. I think he’s either a different spren that Sig bonded after losing his Honorspren or a CS.

I find it more likely that Sigxil’s original Soren was killed, and he met Auxiliary sometime later. That would end Sigzil’s oaths without him breaking them.
