  1. Fortunately, Narrators were amazing at doing what could not be done.
  2. Nameless killed Goomba and thereby made himself whole again.
  3. Nameless was surprised to develop a split personality, but stranger things had happened before.
  4. Nameless killed that with his Narrationblade.
  5. Lark sat in his office, once again going through the logs of the battle that had claimed Calano's life. "@Thaidakar the Ghostblood, could you come to my office please?"
  6. Nameless exploded the telescope, bursting forth in angry brilliance.
  7. Nameless sighed, reconsidering his life choices.
  8. Anyways, Nameless was having a very bad day.
  9. Lark walked to his office, considering the new turn of events. Soulless, eh? I'll need to keep a very keen eye on things if my plans are to succeed.
  10. Lark hesitated, considering. "Very well. Convince Emma not to kill me, and I will do your task."
  11. Lark smirked. "And what is that? Leave the clinic, never to return?"
  12. "Disappointing. I suppose Emma will probably be able to kill me then." Lark shrugged. "Not like I was planning to live anyways."
  13. "So, the soulless still have authority to change things in this dimension? Or is it just the Nethergrim with these abilities?"
  14. "The Nethergrim is a part of a soulless? Or was it something else?" Lark chuckled. "This makes no sense whatsoever. Especially considering how weak Emma seems for 'ruler' of this dimension. Perhaps she isn't aware of her powers? And since you do, I suppose there must be a reason you haven't told her."
  15. "What, did you lock a soulless away or something?"
  16. "Emma? Don't be ridiculous. She is mentioned nowhere in the treaty. Where is her supposed rulership established?"
  17. "Calano enforced them often, and had the authority to change them, within limits."
  18. "A... fake? But it still governs the laws of the clinic."
  19. Lark frowned. "Of course there's a treaty with the soulless. That simply establishes the dimension as separate from the endless darkness. Of course I couldn't change that treaty; doing so would require the consent of the soulless, or the total destruction of this dimension. That treaty doesn't define anything about the dimension, or establish anything about the system of rulership. That's what the clinic treaty is for. If there weren't one... well, I'm sure you know the consequences that could result from such brashness."
  20. "Of course the real treaty was never in words. Otherwise I could have simply erased Calano's name and written in my own. What you seem to misunderstand is the connection between the physical treaty and the spiritual treaty. The physical can affect the spiritual, when one utilizes proper tools and methods."
  21. "What? you mean you know I've stolen Calano's place in the treaty by writing my name in blood over his signature using a piece of his soul?"
