  1. Nameless shook his head. "I don't think that would..." He trailed off, staring in horror at something over Mythos' shoulder.
  2. "I told you. Find Moni, bring her to me. She can stop them. I think." Nameless pulled a sextant from the desk, pressing it into Mythos' hands. "She has to stop them. Find her. Please."
  3. Nameless looked up at Mythos, eyes glowing with faint cracks like broken glass. "The Named."
  4. Nameless limped over to Thaidakar's desk, rummaging through the drawers. "The defenses won't stop them Mythos. Nothing stops them."
  5. Nameless staggered into the room, slamming the door shut and locking it behind him. "Listen carefully. I don't know how long I have until they find me again. I need you to find Moni. I don't know where she is, but I need her."
  6. Just like normal. Nameless hammered on the door of @Thaidakar the Ghostblood's old study, holding a hand to a wound in his side. "Mythos? Are you in there? I need your help."
  7. "I will not give up on him. I hear your whispers, I see your lies."
  8. Nameless shook his head violently. "No. he's still alive. I can save him. We just need to get him back to the clinic." Turning to Haly, he looked around at the beautiful terrain around them. "Haly? We need to get back to the clinic. The infirmary there can save TAAron, but I'm not skilled enough at healing to help him here."
  9. Hard to do that once they bite your hand off.
  10. They'll probably be too busy running from the toothy cows.
  11. ...What if I have a Toothy cow?
  12. Are they more dangerous than my potatos?
  13. "Oh." Nameless glanced back at the doorway they'd come through. "Sorry. When I saw you drawing a triangle... Well, I'm glad its safe here." turning quickly to hide his embarrassment, Nameless knelt next to TAAron, delving him for injuries. "Storms, this is bad. I don't think I can heal TAAron without killing him."
  14. You're probably right on the anarchy part, but the point I'm trying to make is that even the most unambiguous oaths don't prevent evil actions. If someone truly believed that Taravangian's ideals were right, then they could follow it. (Besides, 'justice' is malleable. Case in point: Skybreakers could swear to the pirate code.) Sorry, I phrased that poorly. I meant that the impact the oaths have on a Radiant does not have to be positive. And there doesn't need to be any basis of honor/worthiness, you just have to be honest with yourself. Shallan killing Kelek would have threatened her bond not because it was wrong, but because she would have done it out of desire to hide from the truth. It is possible to be an honest villain. Unexpected Surgebinders can pop up anyways. Skybreakers and lightweaving fused to name a few examples. And yeah, Honorblades will be extremely useful against normal soldiers, but the proliferation of Surgebinders will keep them from being too dangerous. Moash, for example, hasn't been causing mass chaos on every battlefront he's been on.
  15. "Spiders? Ranyru, how did you get here? Is everyone getting out of the clinic now?"
  16. Indeed, the skateboard broke in a very impressive way.
  17. And the cops were after it for skateboarding on the highway.
