    "Really?" Valiant looked hesitant. "You know, fighting Nameless might not um, be the best idea actually. He was kinda strong, as Narrators go. And I don't have more than a few pages of experience, compared to his hundreds."

    "I have Narration. Until my trial is up at least. Besides, fighting Nameless is out of the question, unless you have a portal to the World of Dreams."

    "I... believe that would work. Who do you have in mind?"

    "I just said. I must prove myself as a worthy successor to Nameless before my trial period is over. Even with your help I fear the quest would take too long. Unless one of you happens to know the blade's weakness already."

    "But it will take too long. My Author will re-absorb me far before I can accomplish such a feat."
