  1. Ravelast: Sixth Archive Gateway "I didn't try to. It must've tracked my scent or something." Nameless peered out into the woods, seeing a set of yellow eyes reflecting off the light of his fire. He approached the wolf slowly, holding out a hand in an attempt to calm it. "besides, I'm sure the wolf just wanted to make sure I got back alright." Beside the first wolf, another set of yellow eyes slowly approached. Then another beside that. And another. Soon, the entire group was surrounded by a sea of yellow eyes, easily dozens of wolves. "Alright. This... might be bad." @Aes Sedai @InfiniteInsanity
  2. Ravelast: Sixth Archive Gateway Nameless glared at Rue, ignoring Insa and opening his mouth to respond angrily, but was cut off by a low growling emanating from the edge of the forest.
  3. Klave nodded slowly, following the boy’s gaze and noting the injuries on his hands. “I understand. I’m glad to meet you, and hope you’ll enjoy your stay at this strange inn.”
  4. Ravelast: Sixth Archive Gateway “Please. I’m smarter than that. And besides, we’d be fine. Two channelers? A lone wolf wouldn’t stand a chance, no matter how large it is.” @Aes Sedai
  5. Klave nodded thankfully, vanishing the drawing into his cloak. “Thank you. Can you tell me why you’re here? Or draw it, perhaps?” @xinoehp512
  6. Ravelast: Sixth Archive Gateway “taller than I am, but not giant. Bigger than most bears I’ve seen.” @InfiniteInsanity
  7. “You don’t read minds. Or that’s not all you can do, at least.” Klave nodded. “Interesting. That story of yours must be quite a strange one.”
  8. Ravelast: Sixth Archive Gateway Nameless entered the camp, shooting Rue a quick glare as he sat down and channeled a small globe of fire for warmth. “I set wards. Had an encounter with a large wolf, but he seemed friendly. There’s probably other wildlife out there though, so be careful. Predators might be able to get through the wards without warning, if they’re not actively evil or malicious. @Aes Sedai @InfiniteInsanity
  9. Klave stared in shock at the white-gold dragon scale that the boy drew. He looked back up at the boy’s face. “You can read minds?” Klave was too busy being shocked to notice. His blood tasted odd, not entirely human.
  10. Klave looked at the paper, trying to decipher whatever the boy was drawing on it.
  11. Klave studied him. “You don’t like speaking, do you? Or maybe you can’t? You have some other way of communicating? Writing, perhaps?”
  12. “You don’t like telling stories? Or maybe it’s just this one you dislike.” Klave nodded, gaze drifting towards the window, where he could still see the dragon outside. “I can understand that. Not all stories are nice ones.”
  13. Klave raised what little he had left of an eyebrow. “Those eyes of yours are interesting. Is there a story behind them? I’d love to hear it, if you want to tell me.”
  14. Klave frowned. "It's my face, isn't it? I know, I know. I'm hideous. It could be the cloak, I suppose The eyepatch? Oh, I've got it. It's the sword. That makes sense. People hate talking to guys with swords. We're violent and unpredictable, you see." Taking the sword off his back, Klade sat down next to the child, watching him carefully to see any response.
  15. Ravelast: Sixth Archive Gateway (forest) Nameless stopped walking, glancing back in the direction of the rest of the group, noticing as Rue moved off into the forest. This should be far enough away. Drawing in the One Power, he began setting up wards. Probably best to just give us warning whenever anything sets them off. Don't want to be killing any wildlife by accident. He finished setting the wards and stepped back, nodding to himself. Nothing with ill intent is going to get through that without giving warning. Not unless they can detect inverted weaves, that is. Satisfied, he turned to head back to camp, and found himself staring up at the eyes of a massive wolf, larger than any he'd ever seen. He gulped, raising a tentative hand, saidin still coursing through him. "Uh, good doggy? I don't want to hurt you, I just-" He cut off as the wolf licked him, then started sniffing at his pack. Nameless relaxed, opening his pack and throwing the wolf a piece of jerky. It wagged its tail, eating the meat happily before vanishing back into the forest. Right. Glad that wasn't some kind of cat. That would have been bad. Making a few modifications to the wards to allow wolves to pass, he turned back towards camp, wondering why it felt like he was forgetting something important. @Aes Sedai
  16. Klave shook his head slowly. "Afraid not. I'm as new here as you are." Noticing a boy curled up on the ground, Klave walked over and knelt next to him. "Hello there child. What's your name?" @Ookla the Inverted
  17. Klave's eye showed a hint of surprise as he looked at Galard again. "The dragon's your friend? You were raised with him? Things must be more different here than I'd assumed."
  18. Klave nodded at this, obviously not surprised. "Yeah." He looked around the room, taking note of everyone in the quickly growing group. "It might be that guy."
  19. The stranger looked into Bookwyrm's face with his one eye that wasn't covered with an eyepatch. "My name's Klave. Pleasure to meet you. You know whose dragon that is out front?"
  20. A man walked into the inn, face covered with hideous burn scars. Noticing Bookwyrm, his eye narrowed, and he approached, offering the stranger a gloved hand in greeting. @The Bookwyrm
  21. It came from the wide variety of unnamed and not-fleshed-out heroes that dwelled within TLT.
  22. That was indeed one name that some called the council by. Other generic names included: [Bobs] [Marys] [Heroes] Deciding which to use had proven too difficult, and so they’d stuck with the generic tag.
  23. If I gained Fullborn powers, I'd compound Zinc so that I could figure out what to do with them, and I'd try not to develop a god complex in the meantime.
