  1. “I have no idea what the ingredients are. Honestly, I haven’t ever made a resurrection potion. But I’m sure we’ll figure something out along the way.”
  2. “I’ll just go kill that officer then, shall I?” Shim moved towards the front window of the ship.
  3. Shim crackled with a violent purple light. “How about I go kill whoever that is while you guys get the ship back online?”
  4. "Of course. We'll just have to find the right ingredients."
  5. Unintelligible shrugged. "I'm afraid such a potion won't work on me. I've already died once, and my Author won't let me get away with it again. It would be a good idea to find such a potion though. Perhaps worth a detour?"
  6. "Oh yes. Character development is very common before heroic self-sacrifice."
  7. "Well you'll have to get past 42»¡>£&8£*d»¥¢° first. We'll definitely have at least one casualty doing that."
  8. "Exactly! I mean, some of us might die, but at least one of us will stagger out of the darkness as a gibbering madman to inspire the group that will eventually succeed to begin their journey."
  9. "I don't see why not. It's a better option than going back and being captured."
  10. Unintelligible turns towards Rirrom. "I've heard of this weapon. 42»¡>£&8£*d»¥¢° isn't the only thing protecting it. I've heard tell from other heroes who searched for The Ore-din-Aerie blade of nohr-maul. Once you get past the guardian, there is a strange cave filled with living shadows. So far as I know, no one who entered it has ever returned alive."
  11. I accept the offer, happily munching on some delicious chouta.
  12. Unintelligible follows, certain that the weapon he seeks will be somewhere on the path ahead.
  13. "All right!" Unintelligible pointed in a random direction. "Let's get going on the adventure!"
  14. I'd say the Plotblades are the closest Dawnshard equivalent that have been already established widely. Dragons exist and someone's probably had a pet one before, maybe Bookwyrm? But even if something hasn't existed before, you can make it exist. TLT doesn't have any restrictions on what can or can't exist. The only limitation is your own imagination, and you ability to convince other people to accept whatever powers your character gets along the way.
  15. "Well, I uh, I did get a good look around one of their ships while you were all sitting around arguing about the best way to sneak past them, but, otherwise..." Shim sighed, light shifting towards a light red. "I'm about as new to them as the others."
  16. "See? She's an expert."
  17. "Well I want to find a new weapon. One that's not a Plotblade, preferably. I don't know what you guys want, but I don't know where to find a weapon like the one I want either, so it's probably okay. We can figure that out on the road."
  18. "Yes well, I was talking about Variance, not you. I have been observing important events very closely." "I'm trying to show this annoyance that I'm more than just a pale copy of you. It's not pointless."
  19. "Uh, I think Sequence and Everyone were coming, and anyone else who wants to join... I guess we can probably get started. I'm sure they'll catch up. New people can just fall from the sky if they want."
  20. "Probably because somepeople still aren't here yet."
  21. "Well yes, but did you have any idea who the Beorin were before you were told about them?" Shim didn't mention that hadn't had any idea who the Beorin were until he'd started following this group either.
  22. Time immediately slowed, each second taking what felt like an hour to pass.
  23. "But... unless I'm mistaken, he has no idea what's going on in the universe."
  24. "Great! as soon as Everyone and everyone else that wants to come are ready, we can start."
