  1. "So you're saying we need to narrate faster?"
  2. 1977 Somebody begins plotting to take over the REDACTED.
  3. Subversion felt the sudden need to clarify her previous statement for no reason in particular. "I mostly didn't join Feanor because he was the one who split me in the first place and, you know, he tried to kill Curiosity. I was just surprised that I cared so much about that, when previously I would have brushed it off far more easily."
  4. “That’s… huh. I always thought authors were invincible, but I guess that’s not true in every case.” Subversion shrugged. “Well if there’s anything I can do to help, just let me know. I owe you one.”
  5. “No thanks. I plan on living for a very long time.” “Interesting. So Ryss is sort of your author now?”
  6. “Yeah, you’re right. By the way, what exactly happened to you that made you not an author anymore?”
  7. "Well it's a pleasure to meet you Abalodor. I'll try and remember that."
  8. Subversion doesn't jump. "So, just so that I can remember you better, what do you like doing?"
  9. I pull the sandwich into a multidimensional hole.
  10. "Oh. That's my bad. You're uh..." Subversion subtly scanned the past few pages. "Abalodor! Of course. Sorry, having a hard time keeping all the new people straight." "Don't really expect you to. Just needed to talk about this." Subversion sighed. "Stupid character development. Aren't narrators suppose to be mostly immune to that?"
  11. Subversion is impressed at Falvan's speed, given how far away he'd been mere pages ago. "We're talking about the unfortunate developments related to my character."
  12. Subversion shook her head. "Don't think it'll work. I've tried, but I can't bring myself to stab Platypus in the back and join Feanor like I was planning to originally."
  13. Tress of the Emerald Sea's ending was the worst part of the book, and Yumi’s ending was much better.
  14. Well him yelling "I only need zero" could just be a coincidence. Maybe he really needs the number zero.
  15. "A good thing? But what am I supposed to do when I want to blow up a planet, or ruin a character's life? How can I fulfill my duties as a narrator if I feel bad about it?"
  16. "But that's the problem. I think I'd feel guilty if I killed you."
  17. "No, no. Probably wouldn't work. I think my author likes me better this way." Subversion looked annoyed. "Was it really too much to ask to be completely unchanged by being split into ten pieces, then put back together?"
  18. I think Desolation split into a bunch of different copies and went to chase everyone individually.
  19. Moni pointed her dagger at Desolation. "Stop trying to kill people." @Aeoliae A misty echo of Subversion appeared in front of him. "Hey! Just wanted to say thanks for saving me. And also, I think you put me back together wrong."
  20. Neptune turns into a Death Star and threatens the Earth. 1973
  21. Suddenly, Pineapples? Wasn't he just using that to try and kill Desolation?
  22. Something powerful to kill something that could threaten a Narrator has to have consequences. The blade continues acting up, energy attempting to rip apart Hacob's soul.
  23. The recoil from the blade continued, increasing in strength despite Hacob's attempts to control it.
  24. Suddenly, Suddenly, Pineapples began sending shocks of energy through Hacob's soul.
