My thoughts on lerasium is that one bead forms every 160 years. How long was Leras a shard for? And If this is true can the maximum amount of larasium at one time be 16?? this would fit with the 16 pattern...

One more,

The shard pool on sel, Could it be a perpendicularity that allows movement between Physical, Mental AND spiritual??? We saw the Hoed who was placed in that pool appear as a lighthouse keeper in rosharian Shademar.
