    "Ah, excelent. You impress me." "DM, I would like to cast wish, and remove both Hearts of the Universe." The DM of course accepted because it made it easier for him to position mini's.

    So what would you do if only two of the hogman had commited the murder?

    I'm going to give you a no on that one as the innocent hogman is still being executed, but any lord who did execute all four men would need to be hanged as well. Also thanks for moving this along, I tend to find these discussions turn out better when people like you moderate.

    So if a murder is commited and you have no idea who did it you would punish the whole town just to ensure you punished the guilty? Yes, but the primary goal is protecting the innocent, that means you cannot under any circumstance punish the innocent. That seems designed to keep you in power, rather than doing what is right.

    So because it looks bad otherwise you would punish an innocent man?

    That was the system already, if the three hogman had simply finished the firt one off before anyone else got there no one would have known it was them.

    I have done something I have wanted to do for a long time.

    Many will undoubtedly feel a sense of weight as they see what started something that will be a defining feature of my work to come.

    Others will certainly feel that this is the first of my many failings.

    I however feel that this is right, and have used the promise of being able to do this to keep me going.

    Thinking back on it, today was a good day to kill.

      nice, I hope you handled it well, character death, especially PoV characters, can be hard to kill.
