  1. Frustration stumbled away laughing as he looked from his shardblade to Nameless. "Dude, are you thinking what I'm thinking?"
  2. Frustration summoned his shardblade and fell into Stonestance, going for a straight on strike.
  3. "What I'm meaning is can you get a shardblade and a lightsaber into a bind, or will they repel each other on contact? And sure, here's your hand."
  4. "Thanks, but that's not what I meant." Frustration laughed. Handing Nameless a lightsaber Frustration walked to the other end of the room. "Brandon said that a lghtsaber and a shardblade would bounce off of each other, but does that mean that they won't harm each other, or will they actually bounce away from one another?"
  5. "Well, then stay here with me." Coniffine said. "Goodness knows I could use some help these days."
  6. "Hey, Nameless could I get a hand?" Frustration asked poking his head out of his room.
  7. "Insufferable man." Coniffine whispered under her breath. Turning back to Tina Coniffine quickly finished wiping her off. "Well, it's not perfect but it will have to do."
  8. "Oh don't worry about it dear, let's get you cleaned up." Coniffine said. Coniffine pulled out a rag and began to cleanthe girl off. "Who are you dear?"
  9. Any Cosmere work, no matter how unaware is much more intencive than non-cosmere works.
  10. Coniffine looked over at a small girl heaving her stomach out. The poor thing. Looking through her medicine bag Coniffine found a pill she had made for battle sickness. "Here, eat this dear." Coniffine told the girl. "It will make you feel better."
  11. I don't really care, but the mods might appretiate it.
  12. No, join, um. I'm not doing an acronym. Join The Honset People Society today!
  13. I agree that it should be made to protect people. However I would say that the justice system itself presents the most immediate and potent danger at any given time. By that logic you can't prove anything. I wouldn't even say suffering, as in my experience most suffering is self inflicted. That asteriks there intrests me, what is the boundary line ther, would you say?
  14. No! The cheaters are taking over!
  15. "Or, you could read all of the Mistborn versus threads, or the entire Arcanum."
  16. I have to disagree, the first priority should be to not overstep their boundaries. In this case that would be to not punish the innocent, and then to prosecute the guilty. Now you see why I'm cynical of government. People can be proven guilty, confession, DNA eidence, eye-witness testimony, etc. It's hard, but it has to be. I firmly belive that if you start framing a justice system by asking yourself "How many innocents are we willing to punish to ensure we punish wrongdoers?" You've already failed. If you absolutly must have a question like that ask "How many criminals are we willing to let go to ensure that no innocent is unjustly punished?" So would you be in favor of government surveillance?
  17. Who is more dangerous to a kingdom, three men who will be heavily watched and distrusted by everyone, or a tyrant? Three men can be stopped should they try to murder again with comparetivly little effort. A tyrant cannot be stopped without increadible sacrifice. If a single man suffers unjustly the lord has made the wrong choice and has lost his right to rule. If a man cannot be proven to be guilty he cannot be punished by the lord. And as not a single man can be proven none of them can be punished.
  18. A king who recognises that the largest threat to his people is himself is the best king a people could hope for.
  19. @Emery the Steelrunner you are a cheater. Take that Thaidakar! I win! And in more ways than one.
  20. A king who understands that he does not have the authority to punish an innocent man is not weak.
  21. Cheater. Because I said so. Also copyright. But mostly because I said so.
