I'm about to start reading The Ten Thousand Doors of January.

*makes more typos to terrify Condensation* Back on topic.... I'm no longer afraid of French horns. Now my illogical fear has attached itself to my dad. He's never hurt me physically, but I can't stand to be in the same room as him for fear I'll be contaminated by his breathing or something weird like that. I was diagnosed with OCD in my early twenties.

*runs away, screaming*

Everyone calls me Bethy at some point, so I might make it that. Or perhaps Rando, as I'm a bit random in my conversations at times.

I used to be terrified of the French horn. Not just the sound of it, but the look of it. At Christmas concerts, I'd always want to dash for the door or hide under my seat.

I really like Behind the Name for figuring out what to call my characters. Sometimes I'll take last names as first names, or something in nature will inspire me. Also, listening to Enya (her songs in Elvish) and writing down what it sounds like she's singing, then tweaking it so its not Elvish is another thing I've done in the past. Oh, and taking everyday words as names. I have a character who's a bit slow, so his name is Quick (for irony's sake.) And his sister is Jinn (Djinn with the D taken off, obviously.) Hope that gives you some ideas!

I have a whole long playlist I listen to when I'm surfing or writing. The one that I'm really into right now is Sydney Wayser's cover of "Belfast Child." Sadly, there's nowhere to purchase a copy, so I have to content myself with YouTube.

I LOVE Merlin. It is cheesy, but fun and entertaining. I have only watched up to the middle or end of season three. Right now I'm on the third episode of that Netflix series Cursed. I don't know yet if I like it or not....

I'm reading Harley Merlin and the Cult of Eris (book six in the Harley Merlin series) by Bella Forrest. It's a fun read. Also thinking about reading some more non-fiction, but I have to find one that grabs me.

The Lord of the Rings books (including The Hobbit) The Mistborn trilogy (I still haven't read all of The Hero of Ages, though--*insert guilt-laden gulp here*) Harry Potter (because the books are just so cozy, I want to knit them into a sweater and wear them. I may be coming off a caffeine-induced high, so please excuse....) Neverwhere by Neil Gaiman (the author's preferred text) Percy Jackson and the Olympians: The Lightning Thief (because I like my fantasy with a large dose of laughter sometimes.)

Hi! My name's Beth, and my favorite of Sanderson's work is The Reckoners books--though I have to mention The Emperor's Soul as well (so clever.) I feel guilty because I've had the third book in the Stormlight Archives for several months (it's signed!) and haven't cracked it open yet. Oops. Besides reading Mr. Sanderson's works, I love Tolkien, Jane Austen, Rick Riordan, Agatha Christie, J.K. Rowling, and some of the Brontes' works. And other than reading, I enjoy writing as well Thanks for reading all that. I should really sleep now...but I think I'll explore. Cool forums <3 ~Beth
