    Sarah looked uncertain. "I heard someone else mention it as I walked up. Maybe it has nothing to do with us."

    Glancing at Karin's expression, Sarah changed the subject. "Which group are you in? I heard someone else being assigned as a scout, but I haven't been told anything."

    "I'm from Scadrial," she replied. "Aren't there multiple Earths?"

    Sarah nodded slowly. "What world are you from?" She asked.

    Sarah looked up at Karin's remark. "Sorry?" She asked.

    Aln looked thoughtful. "I suppose that could work. Even if a full school is too ambitious at the moment, there are certainly other ways to educate people." She gestured toward the printing press that gently clattered in the corner. "I can put adverts in my newspaper, if you like. I also have some people I can contact to help spread the word. Is there anything specific you'd like us to be saying?" As she spoke, she sat down in an armchair beside a small table, gesturing at the chairs beside her to invite the others to do the same. @I think I am here. @Sorana

    Sarah happily donned the coveralls that had been handed to her, stepping away from Karin to change. She clipped the tracker on without issue and picked up her stick again. Calling to the other woman, she said, "I'm gonna go look at the tunnels. You wanna come?" Without waiting for a response, she walked over to the edge of the hole, ropes protruding from it, and peered into the darkness. A shiver of excitement crept down her spine. It felt like the first expedition she had gone on, back in the Elendel Basin. A whole new world to explore. Except, this time, people could die. They might have already. Her expression grew more somber, and the darkness below seemed to take on a more ominous appearance. Sarah turned away. @kenod

    I dare you to walk up to the nearest aquaintance (it doesn't have to be a total stranger, but it's better if it's not a close friend) and explain why you like Brandon Sanderson to them. If you had to choose one of the current Stormlight protagonists to die, which would you choose? I dare you to think of a terrible pun and tell it to at least 5 people. Oh, also, I'd like a dare, if that's okay.

    Sarah turned. "Hi," she responded cheerfully. "Yeah, I like to be prepared. I normally take this stuff everywhere, but I figured that it'd look a little odd at a job interview."

    Half climbing, half jumping, Sarah made her way quickly down into the crater. On her back she now wore a large pack, and she carried a sturdy wooden staff, one end capped with sharpened metal. She came dashing up to Stancel, calling as she approached, "Am I late?"

    Aln nodded. "I agree completely. In fact, I've been trying to raise money to build some schools myself." She sighed. "Unfortunately, it hasn't been going very well. Not many people are willing to give up money that they could be spending on the reparation of their decimated homes." Closing the door gently, she looked at the two of them. "Do you have a proposal?"

    Aln smiled back. "I'll do my best. Come on in." She opened the door wider, stepping back, and said, "I'm Aln, by the way."

    After a few moments, the woman inside happened to glance out the window and see them. She laid down her book, and hurried over to open the door. "Welcome to the Scholar's Guild. How may I help you?"

    Slow. I'm always the last in my family to finish. Then again, that's a relative term. My brothers can eat like ravenous wolves sometimes.

    The last party disappeared? Came the reply. That's odd. The chairman was very insistent that that hadn't happened. What else have they found down there?

    Suddenly, the spanreeds owned by Myriad and Kendul (and Tels, but he's not here right now) began flashing, ready to write this message. Kendul, Tels, and Myriad, I have finished an interview with the Chairman of the ACE. Please report back to me on what you have learned as soon as possible. The article must be released tomorrow.     "So what's the downside?" Sarah asked with a grin.

    Sarah watched her go, looking slightly concerned. Then she turned back to the other two women, her smile returning. "So, we're going down into the tunnels tomorrow. What do you think we'll find?" @AonEne @kenod

    Sarah frowned. "I guess. Um. Look, if you're going to go down anyway, try to be safe, okay? I mean, people have died."

    Sarah shook her hand enthusiastically. "So, it seems as if we'll be colleagues."

    Sarah, about to respond to Fasi, was interrupted by the sudden announcement. Her face broke into a wide grin when she saw her name, and she turned to Fasi. "I got in!" Then she noticed the absence of Fasi on the list. "Oh. I... Don't think you made it. I'm sorry." @That Violin Guy

    Sarah, who had been slightly distracted finishing her questionnaire, looked up as Fasi began to leave, and noticed the other woman who was standing there. "Fasi?" she called over her shoulder, before turning to the relative newcomer. "Hi. I'm Sarah. What's your name?" @That Violin Guy @AonEne @kenod
