I love this considering that most of the book he’ll be with Szeth. Arguably the character with some of the worst spiritual scars to heal. He may need to be protected from even worst that he could witness in Shinovar.

It's great! It was really interested to see the magic of the Bloodsealer as well as the power of Forgery. I really wish I could see the long term affects on the Emperor. Shai and Gaotona were a really interesting pair to see as well as their individual characters. Above all, it is a great story and found it structured and executed masterfully. I feel like Frava is in for a nasty surprise as the Emperor does become a great leader, lessening her power. I loved it enough to want more...

There's so much great stuff to take in! For sure! The first fandom and only fandom I can relate with. Sanderson is great!

I mean - I have read WoR, but I want to try re-listen to them to actually remember what happened since I binged all 3 in 6-7 months last winter and don't remember too much. And I started Elantris a while back but then got caught up in OB. I'm worried that in two months I won't know what to do after reading everything. Probably study coppermind and connecting everything together. I will definitely get to Emperor's Soul now that I know it's disconnected from the main story!

Alright! I'll read it at the same time! (This week is full of books now, I'm listening to WoR, Reading Elantris, in the middle of A Promise of Blood, and now time to get to the short story! Along with AOL just getting shipped )

No, isn't it connected to Elantris? Edit: I just checked Arcanum Unbounded and saw that it doesn't directly spoil Elantris. I just assumed that I would need to read it afterwards.

They would be incredible to watch! I’ve only read a couple so far and I like Edgedancer the best because it covers a different character in depth in a continuous story

Yeah it is, I just finished it a couple days ago. Then I read through Secret History and picked up Elantris, set finishing. HoA was crazy though. With the time I have I was able to just binge read all day. Currently my standing as well after finishing...

I can think of a few that I love and it’s hard to decide. I do enjoy scenes with NB/sword-nimi In Warbreaker/with szeth in SA. Along with the Adolin/Kal shardblade battle in WoR. The opening of WoA is great too. Dalinar and Navani’s marriage is also interesting. I enjoyed Spook getting helped out of the fire (the last chapter I just read in HoA). And it was fun to read Nale’s and Lift’s conversation at the end in Edgedancer. But if I could go back and read any scene/section it would be the scene with Dalinar bringing all the realms together, Kal and Szeth zooming around with Lift, Jasnah using different surges, Rock shooting the shardbow, and Dalinar confronting Odium/The thrill (because I can’t spell the Unmade’s name). and I will come back if it changes by the end. Now I’m ultra curious... time to get back to reading

Scadrial for one specific reason. At the time of this inevitable destruction, they would have developed space travel and can easily relocate to another non-shard planet with Harmony. Me too! I tried son-son Vallano and son Neturo, I think, but this one was available! I'm excited to see more of what lies beyond the text as well!

Honor had his hand in a lot, but as of now is he still considered an influence/Deus ex machina? It seems that stuff he did establish has an effect, but he isn't consciously interfering with the characters. But I'm now thinking about what Honor has instructed the Stormfather to do more specifically... could those instructions be his last way of changing the fate of Roshar? I'm basing this off Dalinar finding about the Stormfather's reason to bond a Bondsmith that wasn't revealed until Dalinar asked. Could the stormfather be keeping more information back?

That is interesting. I can't imagine his Cognitive Shadow being able/wanting to do that on his own, would Cultivation manipulate him to help because she needs his reach from the storms? I'm curious to the effect that their relationship has/can have.

The God-Beyond wouldn't be directly intertwined with such affairs in my opinion. I guess I can see Cultivation working in the background to her own ends that happens to help the characters, like Dalinar's boon. But I think the main characters' connection to stormlight itself could be part of it as well. We've even seen Kal have interactions with the Stormfather in a way that he would want to help them.
