  1. But one could argue that that was a lie too. He's not a god and he wasn't very comfortable with being one for the skaa. What he ultimately wanted was revenge. Sure, he cared for the skaa and he did so honestly, but it's really all for Mare. Where this gets dicey is when you start talking about the Southerners. We don't really know enough about his motives to judge that fairly. Why did he want to help them? I suppose I can see him has a Bondsmithy type. He's definitely a leader. I have to continue with Lightweaver though. As much as I can see the thing with the Southerners being about unity and helping others, I can also see it as some sort of lie to... I don't know, convince himself of something. Prove something to himself.
  2. But for this story's purpose, all that mattered was that they were friends with Kell.
  3. Alright, I can see that I suppose. That's certainly important to him. However, the oaths are supposed to be about self-improvement, right? It seems like he has bigger issues that another Order's oaths could help him with rather than just "remembering people." I feel like he's too full of himself for that Order.
  4. Remembering the forgotten? How so?
  5. So, I was thinking about Kelsier and I was curious what Knight Radiant Order you guys think he'd best fit into. My money is on Lightweaver. He's a conman; lying is his thing. Plus, he mentions in SH that he's good at lying to himself. It'd be interesting to see what Truths he'd swear.
  6. Yeah, that makes sense too. I'll make this a topic and put it in the Cosmere Discussion.
  7. I can see him as a Lightweaver. Think about it. "If there was one thing Kelsier was good at, it was lying to himself." That's from SH.
  8. Of course, Kell had a little Rosharian crew, composed of...
  9. He had messed up last time. This time, he'd keep his little one safe. He'd never leave.
  10. Some had set out to find the 8th ghanderflaffle waffle.
  11. Kelsier grinned. "You can have all the pancakes you want."
  12. "Well, we were going to adopt you," Kelsier explained. "Would you like that?"
  13. Yeah, but wouldn't the magic wear off planets away? I mean, I'm not sure, but last I checked this is earth.
  14. Lift cocked her head. "Then what were those funny papers for?"
  15. He shrugged. That was normal. Lift asked him why he was crying.
  16. Well, the city had not been made of blood when they had first arrived. And Kelsier had adopted Lift.
  17. She's not. She has blonde hair and blue eyes and her skin is too light. Now, Nancy Zaugg on the other hand...
  18. Yes. Kelsier got them because he wanted to practice Steelpushing with his new daughter. He didn't quite understand the reality of things yet...
  19. Lift bought one with the money Kelsier had given her.
  20. When you can't even count the number of times you've called your friend Jana Jasnah.
  21. "It was just sitting out on the counter and I thought... Sorry?"
  22. Jasnah raised a skeptical eyebrow but reluctantly agreed.
  23. They had a long conversation about it and made a compromise:
