  1. So, I think the problem that we've been running into with Kelsier is that we're only looking at one part of his aspects at a time. Kelsier is - Power hungry - Not entirely mentally stable - A bit of a show off - A careful planner - Extremely ruthless, but not always - Passionate - Powerful - A leader - A helper - A conman - A rule-breaker - Someone who truly cares about the downtrodden - Headstrong and stubborn - Full of himself - Durable - A non-conformist And probably a lot more that we could come up with. So we've got our list. Now, what's most important to him? What does he stand for? What does he want? The other thing I think we need to consider is what the Oaths are for and what they mean to accomplish. Not only which Order fits best with Kelsier's personality, but which Order is going to best accommodate his issues.
  2. Zeoy watches the spren go. She sighs, fingering her earring and her cheerful demeanor disappears.
  3. Zeoy frowned apologetically. "Well, that's rough sweetie. I wish I could help, I do. What a way to go... I'm real sorry."
  4. "Then how ya gonna drink somethin'? Go on, I'm a barista. I've heard everything."
  5. Zeoy leaned an elbow against the counter, eyes inquisitive and understanding. "Sure you don't wanna talk about it instead?"
  6. Then explain! Debating is fun!
  7. Probably. But seriously. You get him some stormlight and a spren and all of a sudden he can take over planets. This is bad. This was a bad idea. Kelsier should never be allowed to get off world.
  8. Can we just talk for a moment about how OP Kelsier would be as a Radiant?
  9. Heck, I've just started using cosmerian swears where ever I go. On Roshar I'd be a bit profane, but here I just get weird stares!
  10. All right youngins let Star tell you a story. Once, long ago on the 31st of January, Luna and Bean were arguing. Bean wanted to sell spiked goods to the people of TLPW and Luna wanted to sell stew. The two parties clashed, and Star realized that they would be better off uniting. So she made a proposition. They should join forces and start a restaurant. And thus The Happy Inquisitor was started on page 110 of TLPW and has been extremely successful since.
  11. Star decided to dig through TLPW to find where tHI started.
  12. It was always a safe place for both groups. This is nothing new.
  13. Kelsier smiled. "Yes, you can use your Shadfork." He turns to Zeoy. "You guys do have pancakes right?" Zeoy smiles. "Indeed we do."
  14. "Sweetie, as much as I can respect thievery, sometimes you gotta sit down to eat. How about some pancakes?"
  15. Guys, I was the one who came up with this place. I'm pretty sure. And anyway, it may have been made in TLPW, but the owners of The Happy Inquisitors are all Alliancists. People of both threads are welcome.
  16. "Lift!" Kelsier calls. "We're not done yet!"
  17. Hufflepuff? Why on Braze would Kelsier be a Hufflepuff? He's a Slytherin. And that's the point. The evidence that Kell is a Lightweaver lies in what we can't see and what little hints we have.
  18. Zeoy looks up from her lemonade. She opens her mouth, a little flustered, then closes it. "Well then what the storms are you doing here?"
  19. Zeoy laughs, turning around. "You'll see. I'll add extra sugar for ya." She turns around and squeezes some lemons into a pitcher, then adds a cup full of water, some ice, a handful of sugar and a few lemon slices. She stirs it up, then adds a little dash of something extra. Grabbing an ornate cup from below, she pours the lemonade into the glass and pushes it to the edge of the bar. "Go ahead and try it."
  20. I meant he's not a murderer anymore. At least, I hope he's not.
