  1. AJ fumed. "So much for your so-called protection..." What a storming cremling, he thought to himself. The coward won't fight. Thought would be safer if we just... He growled in frustration. ------------------------------------------------------ Thought's eyes widened as something occurred to her. "Tom," she said. "I'm still a Sliver. My mental power is stronger than that of a normal human. There may be a possibility that I..." She bit her lip. The idea was stupid. She hadn't the power anymore. "I could wrestle control away from her."
  2. "So, you're saying there are levels?" Zeoy asked. "I can go deeper and deeper into... Silence..." She cocked her head. "What happens when I reach the limit?"
  3. AJ stood up angrily. "I will not just sit here and do nothing while everything crumbles!" he barked. "Either tell me you have a solution or I am going out there right this second."
  4. Star mentioned that "thrice" is also a cool word and is not used enough.
  5. She was injured, but she was okay for the most part. She didn't die.
  6. Moash (the one Tom was trying to impress) was hit by a train. Thus, Tom went back to trying to impressing Tami. You know, the Shard of Thought's Vessel.
  7. He was, however, a relatively psychotically brilliant inventor.
  8. Star cursed. She had worried that something like this might occur. It was her fault for making Astral and creating all those terrible dark creatures. In her anger, she screamed, summoning a sword to her hand and swinging it at a mountain top, sending the whole thing crumbling to the earth below.
  9. With a chill, Zeoy felt the ripple of Pheonix's words in her precarious Silence. It was enough to tip her balance and she found herself back in the real world again.
  10. Star supposed that was correct. She cocked her head. What was the Origin doing here?
  11. But Star was worried about the characters. Her own welfare meant little to her now that Marsh was gone.
  12. And Star asserted that the Origins were still dangerous.
  13. Star glared. These things had taken her character Astral. She wouldn't let it destroy TLT. And so, she ignored it, refusing to let it feed on anything she had to offer.
  14. Zeoy closed her eyes. She pushed away everything and felt the peace again. She could tell it was fragile. In fact, when the thought entered her mind, it shattered, falling away and forcing her to start again. She took a deep breath. She would find it again. Perfect Silence. Slowly, slowly, she opened herself, letting it into her. As it balanced out the worries in her mind she felt herself smile.
  15. Zeoy shook her head, coming back to the world. She blinked. Silence, she thought. ... Freedom? She closed her eyes and focused on shutting her thoughts away, being in the moment. Finding the nothingness. A touch of peace came over her and she opened her eyes. "Yes. I think there's something there."
  16. Thought felt herself grow cold. "What's happening?" Even AJ didn't speak.
  17. Meanwhile, Star debated resurrecting Marsh. On the one hand, she'd have her husband back, but on the other hand, she'd already failed once at protecting him.
  18. It depends. Usually first.
