  1. Sierra looked from her fractured-looking hand to Grey to Vivica, to the cinnamon rolls, then back to her hand again. "Vivica looks... burnt at the edges. Some things are blurry. Others aren't..." She shook her head. "I'm hallucinating," she decided. "I have knives in my eyes, I shouldn't be able to see anything!" @Snipexe
  2. Sierra still felt off put by their friendly nature. It scared her. She wasn't quite used to people being nice to her. Theresa had been nice. And Sierra had killed her. "It's..." Sierra considered, looking at her hand sitting beside her plate and fork. "Like a mirror. A cracked one. But... there's a kind of glare. It's like... it's brighter than it should be." @Snipexe @ZincAboutIt
  3. Star sighed and bit her lip. She was worried about her little one. Wait. Little one. Since when had she called Heather her "little one?" She was hardly "little." But... she wished she was. Wouldn't that be lovely? To have a daughter or son? A little child to call her own? She smiled, blushing lightly. @Jaywalk @xinoehp512
  4. Star pulled a hand to her mouth. She recognized the boy from when she had gone through Heather's memories. Skylar, she remembered his name was. Seeing Pheonix interact with her had made her heart swell with happiness, but the positive emotion was quickly drowned, making her stomach lurch. Noting Heather's pale, horrified expression and understanding what the boy meant to her, Star quickly expended some Narrative energy to expel the image from the hallway. She walked closer to Heather, wishing she could put an arm around her shoulders to comfort her. "Are you all right, my dear?" Ember regarded the image curiously and was slightly confused when it disappeared as soon as it had come. She had a hard time following what had just happened. She turned her gaze to her master, carefully watching her comfort Heather. Ember was not good at comfort. She was too hot to be warm, too literal to be imaginative, and too hard to be tender. But she was confident that she could get better.
  5. From the album: Fallen

This is seriously one of the best things I have ever drawn. What a great villain; he almost looks like Gaston. Gotta love Ralvon.
  6. I wish I could draw like that... This is incredible!
  7. I feel you, my whole family has been sick for the last two weeks. Except for me.
  8. ... under the sea. Where he drowned. His punishment was both cruel and unusual.
  9. Later, he was arrested for buying things off of the black market.
  10. They later found out that that was because he had accidentally ordered a daily bucket of blood from bucketsofblooddelivered.online.com on accident. It ended up costing quite a bit of money.
  11. Sophie looked down at herself and gasped. Her outfit had changed. She still wore a loose blue dress, but this one was slightly different. It was a darker shade of blue with light blue trim and a slit down the side and it only went just past her knee at its lowest. There was a belt of white stars around her waist with a sheathed dagger at her side. And, in addition, she had silver - yes, silver, not blue - bracers around her lower legs and wrists. Her face lit up. "Wow!" she cried softly, grinning at the beautiful gift.
  12. Welcome to the forums! Who’s your favorite character?
  13. Star squinted at the object, confused. Undoubtedly there was something of worth to see here, if Pheo was so excited. Maybe it'd just take a minute... Ember felt as if she was intruding again. Granted, unlike before, she did not know exactly what she was intruding upon, but she still felt just as out of place as when she had been scared of greeting Star directly after her master had come back from Silence's Realm. It was made slightly better by the fact that Heather was with her this time, but it was all quite odd, especially because Star herself didn't quite know what she was doing either. Thankfully Master Pheonix did and Star loved him so he must be doing something good. After all, Star's judgement was perfect; if she trusted Pheonix and loved him too (though Ember herself did not understand why the way she "loved" Pheonix was special or, even, what "love" truly meant) then Ember would know that Pheo was in the right. He must be. Otherwise Star would be wrong and that just wasn't possible.
  14. Star peered down the hallway, expecting something... grander. She stood there, mouth open. "Umm..." she said. "It's very, um..." She blinked. "I'm sorry, Pheo, I'm not exactly sure... what..." She laughed nervously.
  15. Sierra shook her head. "Nothing looks that different," she said, still very subdued, on edge. "It just looks... off." @ZincAboutIt
  16. The emaciated woman looked up from her food. Her face was a bit messy from her frantic way of eating - always before she had been forced to eat very quickly for one reason or another - and she seemed a bit shaken. She had utterly immersed herself in the wonderful fact that she was being allowed to eat freely and being snapped away from it was a bit unsettling. Her eyes throbbed. No, her whole head throbbed. And her vision still wasn't right... it bothered her. She lifted her sticky fingers up to her face to feel at her eyes and was deeply concerned to find something protruding there. She froze, trying to remember... Daggers. Yes, she knew that already, Grey had just said something about it. It was just... fuzzy. Everything was fuzzy. She shivered, trying to focus on her surroundings and bring herself back to reality. Tests. Right. "Umm," she said softly. She felt stupid. "Well... is there anything you usually look for? A baseline. Of skills." She swallowed, shaking herself. What was wrong with her today?! @Snipexe
  17. From the album: The Longest Thread (Misadventures)

I've got three "doodles" for you today, though only the third one should really be considered a "doodle". *shrug* On the left is Heather. I put a lot of symbolism into that one and it turned out suuuuuper well, I'm really proud of it. I draw Heather way too much, I need to stop. Top right is Astral, after she clawed her eyes out. Yeah, she wasn't having the best day. She's insane, ignore her. And bottom right is Heather and Ember being adorable. Everyone likes Ember some reason and I don't get it why she is so overwhelmingly beloved. But I do have to admit that she has some pretty precious interactions with other people, particularly with Heather. It's the perfect blend of awkward and cute and I think that just maybe I was able to capture it there in what I drew.
  18. His parents were also really fanatic about prophecies. All prophecies.
  19. The Deadmunks had been suffering under the tyrannical Dictatorship of the Deadmunk Overlord for some time now. Prophecy told of a savior who would rise up to save them...
  20. A part of Star was a bit unsettled at the thought of going so deeply into caverns. It wasn't that she was afraid, there was just something about the whole thing that put her off balance. Still, she couldn't deny how the sight was when she saw it.
