    I did this drawing for tomorrow's Inktober prompt and that mistcloak makes my Sander-heart flutter so I figured I should share the misty love with the rest of y'all. He looks a lot like Kell, but he's actually the son of one of my OC's so yeah. And oh, Shards, all the art in this album is so old, the cringe is real.

    *takes deep breath* It's not about notifications, it's about me wanting my thread to look nice and neat, okay? Quoting people makes it very crowded and I don't like it.

    You wouldn't get two notifications because you're not the one she's quoting. I don't get two notifications either; I just don't want any more than I have. There's a reason I use email notifications instead of just ones from the shard. I mean... there's off brand of everything.

    I use Faber Castell "artist pens" they come in all different sized tips. I use the thicker tips for outer lines, and the thinner tips for details. And then I also really, really like water color markers for color. They're just water based markers with a brush tip. Oh, and just as a rule of thumb, I wouldn't quote someone unless somebody else responded before you. Might just be a me thing, but the extra notification bothers me.

    Awesome, that's what I started out with too. After Inktober last year, I started adding ink to all of my drawings and it's made my artwork miles better.

    *shrug* Maybe I just got lucky when I did it. What art medium do you primarily use?

    It's easier than you would think. I was super intimidated by it last year, but it ended up just taking a little bit extra effort. What helped me was to take my pencil over it first so I would know where to draw lines. I do that when I'm inking hair too.

    It's funny. Both this year and last year, I only drew AJ once, but both times the drawing he's in (which is always with one of the Satrebils) turned out incredibly well. I mean look at this! That's even good by this year's standards!
