  1. It's really slow up until like the 8th or 9th book. I feel like Winters Heart is where it started getting good again. Crossroads of Twilight and Knife of Dreams were amazing. The 6th book, Lord of Chaos does have some really cool parts near the end though. Same with Fires of Heaven.
  2. I'm on Brynhildr. Kinda sad they are moving my server to a new data center...
  3. Vasher will let Szeth keep Nightblood Azure/Vivenna and Vasher/Zahel will form a sword fighting school (probably not but I wish) Lift will steal Odium's pancakes. Kaladin will get his Shardplate which I'm hoping isn't stupidly bulky looking and more like light armor. More Unmade pls
  4. Lift x Nightblood :^) I have this scene in my head (not from the books) where Jasnah is reading from the Urithiru Gem Archive about how "Edgedancers were the most graceful and refined of all the orders..." and slowly trails off as she sees Lift and Nightblood in the corner and Lift going, "okay sword, so the thing you hafta understand about butts is..." and then Jasnah just walks out lol.
  5. Final Fantasy XIV. Getting ready for Shadowbringers expansion and Patch 4.5 A Requiem For Heroes by leveling up my Dark Knight tank. And Blue Mage comes out in a week but people have mixed feelings about it because it's designed for solo play. Shadowbringers Trailer Patch 4.5 A Requiem For Heroes trailer
  6. Thanks lol Of course I've read them all. My second favorite book series ever. I should take a picture of my overstuffed bookshelf when I get home from work lol. Favorite Sanderson character is probably Syl. I dunno she's just adorable lol. Or in her own words, "Captivating? Amazing, witty, meaningful?”
  7. Riverworld by Phillip José Farmer. It takes place on a "Super-Earth" that is probably a hundred times bigger than our planet with a massive river valley running down the middle of it. The whole of humanity from before written history till like early 2000's gets revived on the planet with no clue why or how they got there. It starts out about as well as you'd except: Absolute chaos. After awhile people form groups and tribes and they find these devices called Grails that provide food and clothes. The main characters are all famous historical figures like Richard Francis Burton, King John of England, Samuel Clemens (better known as Mark Twain) Alice Hargreaves, Mozart, Tomoe Gozen, Hermann Goering and Cyrano de Bergerac. And that's just a few of them. They find out that a mysterious omnipresent group of aliens they dub the "Ethicals" revived them after Earth went boom due to a catastrophic first contact event from another group of aliens (supposedly). Humanity is then given a trial on Riverworld to see if they are worthy of being resurrected. It's a lot more complex than that but I won't get too into it. It's just really bizzare when you have characters like Mark Twain and Mozart fighting against aliens lol.
  8. The third volume of Otherland, Mountain of Black Glass by Tad Williams. Williams is great at creating beliveable characters with actual flaws and realistic personalities.
  9. I've read every Stormlight Archive book so far, including Edgedancer, every Mistborn book, including Second Era, and Secret History, Warbreaker, Elantris, the last three Wheel of Time books he finished for Mr. Jordan, and the first Reckoners book.
  10. I am Zurvanite, big fan of Brandon Sanderson and all his writings, especially Stormlight Archive and Mistborn. I play the mmo Final Fantasy XIV a lot in my spare time (my character is named Wax Ladrian lol) and I have a cat named Aviendha, because I am also a massive Wheel of Time nerd. I thought I'd say hello and introduce myself to this awesome community!
