  1. Author Void mourned the loss of his Narrator, but not all hope was lost. Another showed great power. Great power... And great innocence.
  2. Because Sophie has a bottle of conditioner.
  3. Or it might have been the steak. Probably the steak.
  4. Despite the lack of much Kimmalyn(my favorite character from Skyward), I loved Starsight. Seeing all the new aliens was super cool, and made the galaxy seem a ton bigger. I was surprised that we actually got to see a delver in this book; it was similar to many people being surprised at(Oathbringer spoilers): Loved all the new characters: Vapor had me the most intrigued, and I can’t wait to meet more figments; Morrimumur had a very interesting conflict, which I was very pleased with; Brade’s been set up to be a very interesting antagonist for Spensa—can’t wait to see more conflict between the two; Hesho was a fun character, it’s a shame he didn’t last longer, even if it was an effective storytelling device. And that ending. Wow. Why would you do this to me, Sanderson?
  5. Careful, guys. Don’t want anyone to be spoiled on Starsight(awesome book, by the way). They’d heard its fluting constantly as they tried to sleep at night.
  6. ...no. I should probably read through the thread. I don’t think I’ve read much, and I don’t remember anything.
  7. And after the harvest, he left, potaters in tow. Butt Venture decided he wanted to take over Elantris.
  8. And thus, the Great Slog of Page 822 came to an end. Jaywalk sat at his desk, penning a letter. To who it would go he was unsure, but he knew he needed to write it. ”I don’t know if I’ll ever be back,” he wrote, “but I know I need to leave. I’ve caused far too much harm in my current state. Perhaps it would be best for me to find somewhere to settle down.” He signed the letter, then slipped it through the portal. Well, that’s it. I don’t know if I’ll ever write him again—I feel like his arc has progressed to the point where doing any more would ruin it. Time to start anew.
  9. Completely agreed.
  10. I wasn’t shipping it until this very moment. That picture is adorable.
  11. Just finished Transistor, from Supergiant Games. Didn’t outstay its welcome, had a great story, surprising ending, and a deep combat system. Loved it!
  12. I disagree. They did introduce a larger Star Wars galaxy, and added quite a bit to the saga, despite the cringy writing.
  13. They’re not great movies, but they certainly have their moments—the Battle of Geonosis is one of my favorite events in all of Star Wars. Darth Maul is awesome as well. I don’t necessarily love the movies, but I love the prequel era. Part of that is The Clone Wars, which I absolutely love to death. To those skipping over it because they think animation is for kids, I suggest you watch the Maul/Savage episodes, especially the arc where Maul seizes Mandalore. It’s super dark, full of excellent character moments, and has some of Star Wars’s best storytelling.
  14. Wonderful book so far!
  15. I know it’s popular to hate on Rian Johnson after The Last Jedi, but if you miss his newest movie because of that, then you’re missing a great opportunity. I had the pleasure of seeing Knives Out last night, and it was absolutely fantastic.
  16. Really enjoyed Season 3! I especially loved Soren’s arc and Rayla’s arc. Bait and Zym’s relationship was fun to see progress, and I loved seeing more of Xadia. The sunfire elves are super cool. I liked seeing more of the moonshadow elves as well, but I was a little disappointed we didn’t get to see earthblood elves. Amaya was awesome, Soren was great, Aaravos is the freaking best, and I cannot wait for more of him.

Star, you’re amazing! You just seem to get better with every drawing you post!
  18. I prefer the old site to the state the new one is in, but I’m sure it’ll improve.
  19. This was exactly what happened to me Saturday night with my reread of Oathbringer—1AM and everything...
  20. Jaywalk enters the Yay Headquarters and summons his Shardblade. "The purge begins..."
