  1. “Uh, Lift, dear,” Jasnah said. “What is that?”
  2. Hollow Knight never feels unfair. It’s very difficult, but you never feel cheated when a boss beats you. Boss fights are all about learning patterns—not necessarily getting stronger, though that happens too—so you could beat probably any boss with the starting gear. Traversal is very fun—especially as you get new abilities. Even when you get lost, it’s always fun to find new, hidden areas that you might have glossed over before; believe me, there are plenty. Really, my only issue with the game is the lack of guidance and tutorial the game gives you. You have to find the map maker in each area before you can see the map, and it takes a special charm to let you see where you are on the map. The first few hours of the game are a bit drab, just wandering around blindly, but once you get the hang of it then the game becomes very fun(I’m about 25 hours in right now; it’s very long).
  3. And became a Truthwatcher. Max is my new favorite character.
  4. I related to him in the early books. Later on, I didn’t relate as much, but I understood him. He’s one of my favorite characters—he’s very complex.

  6. I enjoyed Rand once he started going downhill. He was awesome in the last three books.
  7. Amaram ripped the shorts off his face, confused.
  8. “I like your eyes,” he said. “They’re very...uh...light.”
  9. Aww(in a good way)...that was really good. Meanwhile, Jasnah was on her non-romantic date.
  10. Lift gave Max a special waffle. It was the eighth waffle.
  11. “Daddy,” Max said. “Is Edna really dead?”
  12. Max jumped into Kel’s arms. Jaywalk smiled, then left the room.
