  1. Marsh stood over Star, removing a spike from his pocket.
  2. Tom caught Star’s foot, then snapped her ankle.
  3. Jaywalk explained to Xino that Star and Marsh had, in fact, had children. Right around the time Kelsier and Jasnah were married.
  4. “Mommy?” the children asked. “Why did you leave us?”
  5. Marsh wiped his eyes, but was unable to keep the tears away. His and Star’s children asked him where Mommy had gone.
  6. Marsh lay sleepless in bed, crying over Star.
  7. Marsh cried for hours, eating frosting by the spoonful while he watched cheesy romcoms.
  8. Tom Joebob smiled creepily at Star through the bars of the cell.
  9. The bunny stared, horrified, at the arrow in his foot. “Not my lucky charm!”
  10. The bunny puked Rupees all over the Lunian, knocking it unconscious.
  11. The bunny pulled the trigger. Nothing happened. ”Storming, dusting, rusting gun,” it swore.
  12. “Nothin’ I can do,” Jaywalk said. “It has a mind of its own.”
  13. “Do you have any carrots?” the bunny hissed.
  14. The void opened, spitting the bunny out into Star’s cell. “Put your hands up,” it said, pointing the revolver at her.
  15. “It’s all right,” Jaywalk soothed, patting the bozo’s head. “The mean girl can’t hurt you.” He handed one of his revolvers to the bozo. “Just in case.” The bozo let out an adorably terrifying screech, glaring at Star.
  16. “He’s just a bunny,” Jaywalk said, covering the bozo’s ears. “Don’t hurt his feelings.”
  17. Jaywalk chuckled. “I have more power than you can comprehend.” He held out his hand to Star and pulled her to her feet, then dashed out of the room, gesturing for her to follow.
  18. Jaywalk reminded Lunamor that he had godmodding on his side.
  19. Jaywalk sighed, then untied Star’s bindings, shooting the Lunian in the face.
  20. Narrator Jaywalk reminded Narrator Lunamor that he had asked earlier for Narrator Shadow to repeat the question after contemplating.
  21. “The Longest Thread. The world we live in. All that we are.”
