  1. Granted! Robots start calling them Lego too. *** I’d like my bane to be better than my boon.
  2. My guess is a Dawnshard/Dawnshards. The cooks words support this theory as they mention protecting them for their own good from something that can end worlds.
  3. Seems likely they came through a portal. Urithiru as the portal engine seems plausible. (Or it could've teleported itself in its entirety. Not a spaceship but a portal-gun.)
  4. Congratulations, you have a kite. It eats and craps all over the place is generally a pita. I want my girlfriend to get her own account on here so she can play this game. stop playing this game on my account.
  5. Uh you sure about that and if so where’d you find that out?
  6. Granted, but you must always wear said shirt, and soon you become known for how it smells, always. I wish for Brandon Sanderson to take me under his personal wing as a fledgling author.
  7. Congratulations. You are now Jerry. You have every different kind of apple and apple product. (Ie. Apple sauce, bobbing for apples, etc.) This is also your bane. Cause you know, you're Jerry... I want to find out the secret in Rick and Morty that the creators say they'll never reveal.
  8. Heh. Also a talented artist should conceptualize that whole "drowning in WoBs" thing.
  9. Best ship I've thought of yet. Stormfather and a reformed Sja-anat who is now the Stormmother. They have so much in common. "You like spren lil'lady?" "Yeah I like spren." The sequel involves the Nightwatcher who turns out to be the mousy sister of Sja'anat. Sequels always have to be bigger after all.
  10. I did a wordsearch in this thread for "thaylen" but missed Rsharas comment. (Off to hunt that WoB) I'm more curious about Odium's reasoning. Goes back to the old adage, "every villain is the hero of their own story". Odium trying to be Passion is as interesting to me as Odium being Passion.
  11. Just to add another log to this fire, with no horse in this race; Thaylen's worship the Passions which after Odium's "I'm BatmPassion" has me thinking. (About what I don't know I just woke up after some weird dreams, but thinking I shall.)
  12. Granted, they don't even tax you on it. Unfortunately you realize you are in fact selfish and spend it all on a statue of yourself in a major metropolitan area. (Your choice which city.) I wish to watch a cage-fight between Moash and the Anti-Moash gang, but Moash gets his powers!
  13. Double-post party!
  14. Mraize is confirmed Worldhopper. Arthur Dent (paraphrased) Is [Mraize] a worldhopper? Brandon Sanderson (paraphrased) Yes, he's been to a few planets, highly supervised by his babsk. Arthur Dent (paraphrased) So what planet is she from? Brandon Sanderson (paraphrased) Well, that's kind of a hard thing to say. She has 3 planets she's "from". For example, she's living now on Roshar, but then she's from a different planet, but that's not a planet that her people are from. Arthur Dent (paraphrased) So there was a mass exodus to that planet? Brandon Sanderson (paraphrased) Not exactly. If you were to find a Japanese American, where would they say that they are from? Her people did not have a mass exodus. Arthur Dent (paraphrased) Have we seen mass exoduses before? Brandon Sanderson (paraphrased) Yes, there are some in the cosmere. There's a mass exodus that is mentioned in one of the interludes in [Words of Radiance]. Footnote: Zas678 intially reported that the mass exodus was discussed in The Way of Kings, Arthur Dent later corrected this as Brandon actually referred to Words of Radiance. source
  15. Yup, gonna have to use your imagination a bit. Could be Dalinar ascending, could just be Team Honor vs Culty after a surprise win against Odium in the first 5.
  16. That's an interesting idea I hadn't considered before.
  17. To start, without the intervention of Cultivation, Dalinar would be Odium's Champion. The guy who was holding the remnants of Honor would be Odium's Champion. Ponder that for a sec... that's not just bad, that's really really really bad. (What would happen to that Honor/Power anyways?) So, the question, do you think the Diagram foresaw Dalinar becoming Odium's Champion?? If it assumed Dalinar would become the Champion, how then does that effect your view of Taravangian's moves against Dalinar? For my part it adds a much deeper layer of grey to his "villainy". It's essentially a justifiable reason to act against Dalinar despite his seemingly good nature. A necessary reason even. On the flip side of that coin, if it did predict Dalinar would be successful then a whole other can of worms gets thrown around. Like possibly giving a bit more credence to the theory of Taravangian joining Team Odium as a ploy...
  18. Heh, I do find Mraize/Ghostbloods more interesting. I like his hunter/prey mentality. Just unfortunate I have to Shallan PoV to get the goods on em most of the time. So far the people I've had the strongest urge to read grisly deaths of were Nale (Pre-Edgedancer), Amaram, and Sadeas. And to a certain extent Ialai, but her relevance seems to be faltering. Adolin's WoR ending was extremely satisfying, I just wish the ramifications of it hadn't petered out. I like Taravangian and am not entirely sure he's villain through and through. Odium I am reserving judgement on. So far I don't think I know enough to make a judgement, yet.
  19. Am I this Topic's godfather, uncle maybe? I don't hate Moash but he's so far my least favourite villain in the series. I just sort of find him uninteresting. The circumstances around him, the dagger, etc, they have me interested, but as a character Moash just seems, boring. Pretty flat. If you had told me in WoK what he'd wind up doing in OB I would've balked. I felt like his plot-line was going to be a small arc that finished up quickly. (Since it didn't feel like it merited much more...)
  20. That sarcasm really puts me in the mood to enlighten you.
  21. Yeah... that happened. Did we just solve over-population? Cause I'm not seeing a huge downside. (I hate kids. Bleh, loud smelly things.) Just replying, please pass this by next Poster! ↑↑↑
  22. Granted, you receive every boon and curse in this entire Topic! I wish women never got periods. >.> <.<
  23. It's mentioned and alluded to a lot in the books but I'm not sure it's actually an accurate statement. Having commitment issues is an easy cop-out saying for someone who is searching for the right one but is willing to search. (Ie. play the field/date a lot.) If he was banging all these chicks but not sticking around then I'd start pondering the term "commitment issues" but as it stands he seems too timid to even get to the point where commitment comes into play. Also to note though, he very well could have commitment issues, I just don't think we've seen anything in-book that actually suggests that. It just looks like it a bit.
  24. I don't think the Weeping has anything to do with the Sibling. I'm guessing it has something to do with both the Origin, what happens at the Origin, and the Stormfather "recharging" to some extent. I am insanely curious what the Origin contains/how it works but haven't read the books/WoBs with that mind yet, so just vague ideas for now.
  25. Nope! I'd like that too. I'm picturing something happening with Tarah next book but ultimately leading to Kaladin just relying on himself.
