  1. Except for Uncle Brandy, he had a ghandermap that lead to the great city.
  2. Thanks! And same, I just got a job and haven't had the time to draw like I used to, but yeah I enjoy it and I'm trying to get back into it! No problem! I usually just doodle random designs and shapes, but I have the most fun with weapons and symbols. I'm absolutely terrible at drawing humans, but I'm getting better. I can never seem to get body proportions or facial features right, but Roadwalker turned out pretty well since he's faced the other way lol.
  3. Aaaaw thanks! I've finished myself and my take on Xino's sword too...
  4. Road followed close behind Ghanderflaffle, summoning Whistle. Here's some quick sketches I did of my weapons.
  5. I can try if you want! It might take a little bit cause I'm working on me right now lol.
  6. YAS...PLEEEEEEEEEEEAAAAAAAAAASE!!!!!!!!!
  7. Noice! We should draw more things, like the narrators ourselves, monsters, weapons, etc. That'd be cool.
  8. And won America's Got Talent for his comedy routine.
  9. Roadwalker glanced down. He counted seven Sentipede barbs scattered in his leg, still embedded deeply. Why is there no pain? He pushed his thoughts aside and focused his attention on several spiders crawling in his direction. He stared intently, concentrating on their minds. They stopped, frozen in their tracks. Road's scar pulsed and burned for a second. The spiders began to glow with heat, and in the blink of an eye they burned from the inside out and fell in a pile of ash. Road suddenly felt something crawling on him. One smaller spider had escaped his notice and climbed on him from behind. It chittered and bit the middle of Road's back, tearing his tunic and ripping off little chunks of flesh. Road frantically grabbed at his back, trying to pull it off. The spider scurried into the wound and dug deeper, eating it's way underneath the skin. Horrified, Road tried clawing at the small moving lump, but the spider was quick and moved to his shoulder and down his arm. Road ripped off his sleeve and quickly summoned a dagger. He lightly stabbed his arm directly over where the spider's shape appeared and cut a small incision, wincing as he flicked the little monster out. It fell to the ground, scuttling about. The spider looked up and and screeched as Road's boot came down swiftly and killed it with a loud *squish*. Remember to clean these later, Road told himself, wiping his slimy boot on the grass. He ran over and helped a couple Narrators fight off some murderous crows. He noticed Ghanderflaffle riding past on a ghandercorn, her leg bloodied. Hope she's ok, Road worried as he spun his katana and struck down several attacking birds.
  10. Since Road was busy battling a Sentipede, he made a duplicate of himself and attended their ceremony. It was beautiful. Some snakes and centipedes came as well, so he had to stay hidden and watch through the window of his Delorean.
  11. "Back to fighting," sighed Road, Whistle forming in his hands. They rode ahead towards a particularly nasty group of monsters.
  12. "Never better!" Road replied cheerfully. He took a gander at the ghandercorn. What a magnificent beast, he smiled to himself.
  13. Road suddenly heard a terrible screech. He turned around to find himself face to face with a giant centipede-snake, crawling and slithering towards him with incredible speed. Razor sharp spikes ran from the top of its back to the tip of its tail, and deadly venom dripped from it's pincers. Why'd it have to be me? he cried inside. He summoned Whistle Blade and charged the foul beast. It stopped and lifted itself off the ground, poising to strike. It hissed and snapped its mandibles open and shut, then launched itself at Road. He jumped clear of the pincers and rolled to the side, taking a swipe at the massive head. He managed to slice off an antennae, causing the Sentipede to reel in horror and pain. It shrieked and retreated for a moment. The monster then began to slowly slither around Road, making almost a full circle before attacking again. Road ducked as it wriggled over his head, the giant body landing on his leg and crushing it. Hundreds of little legs like large needles stabbed it as the beast ran across. Road gasped in pain, dropping Whistle Blade and letting it dissipate. He desperately tried to pull himself free from the weight, but the Sentipede's legs stuck and would not let go. They hooked in his flesh and strained against his efforts. Road summoned his stone daggers and quickly sliced at its underbelly. The monster screamed in pain and tried to escape, but its needles held fast in Road's leg. It began slithering along the ground, dragging Road with it. He screamed in pain, trying to free himself. He ferociously slashed at it, cutting off the unwanted attachments in his leg. He freed himself and rolled to safety, the Sentipede's legs still embedded in his skin. He managed to right himself and stand up just as the Sentipede attacked once more. He dismissed his knives and summoned Whistle Blade. The Sentipede was almost upon him now, its mouth open wide with a taste for more blood. It screeched and flew at him, just as his blade formed. The poisonous mouth enveloped the sword, impaling it's head on the blade. The whistle of Road's blade combined with the terrible screech of the Sentipede created a sound-force so strong it knocked back several other monsters nearby, killing them instantly. As the dying monster breathed its last terrible breath, one of its large pincers scratched Road's arm as it collapsed, the venom quickly traveling across Road's body. He began to shake uncontrollably, falling in unconsciousness. The venom reached his chest, meeting the silvery scar. It screamed in shock as the scar repelled its poison, forcing it to retreat and leave Road's body. Road coughed the deadly liquid up, breathing hard. Well...that was fun.
  14. Road twirled his daggers and dismissed them, then summoned his World's Best Narrator mug and took a sip of tea. "WHOA...Where'd you get a weapon like that?" he asked Xino. Then he remembered anyone could have any weapon they chose. He willed himself a new weapon of his own, not that his daggers weren't absolutely awesome, but he needed something stronger. For a moment he cleared his mind, then summoned a katana made of pure unbreakable diamond. Road admired his new sword, slashing the air in front him. The sword responded with a series of high-pitched sounds as the wind met its edge. Delighted, Road held it close and whispered, "I'll call you Whistle Blade." Suddenly a group of monsters ran at Road from the mist, snarling and biting. Road spun and leaped in the air, landing on a large rock nearby. He brought Whistle Blade down on it, slicing it in two. As he did so, a deafening ringing sound wave hit the monsters head on, throwing them backward. They landed with a heavy thud, they're ears bleeding heavily. With satisfaction, Road dismissed his diamond sword. He chuckled. "Nice. Hey Xino, what do you think? We can be fire and 'ice'," he joked.
  15. Road's knives glanced off the Orgin's scales, which only slightly annoyed the winged demon. Road summoned his blades back and called for aid.
  16. "THAT!!!!!" Road shouted, shoving Dapper aside and hurling his daggers forward. There, flying directly towards them, swooped a half crow half scorpion. The creature had two beaks in the shape of pincers, with two sets of long scaled wings and a feathered tail trailing a massive stinger. The trolloc was mounted on top
  17. But Road liked ORIGIN stories, Orgin's were disgusting foul beasts so of course nobody cared about their story.
  18. Suddenly Narrator Road emerged out of nowhere and joined in the fray. His twin daggers shot out in front of him, flying towards the enemy and spinning with incredible speed as they raced towards their mark. The monsters screamed as the stone blades weaved between them. How did he know? Road thought as he called his knives back. He felt at the pouch tied to his belt. Whatever you mean for us, I will guard you with my life. (Flashback:) Road reached the bottom of the tower's staircase, panting hard. Must...find...him...he ran past the guards and burst through the gate. Where is he?! he thought frantically. Road ran to the side of the gate. Nothing. He searched the other side, but nothing. There was no sign of the injured man. Blast! How could I have been this blind! It could've been him...Road stood, staring at the vast stone walls. The Finality will begin, and I could've stopped it... The box still lay in the dirt and bloodied grass. He ran to it and picked it up. His mind reached out and detected small intricate designs covering the box. Startled, he recognized this. The combination was so unique, elegant, so uniform. It's a maze lock, he realized. He reached out further and prodded the strange box, trying to figure it out. He could feel the twists and turns, where the patterns fell, where they rose, where they evened out with each other. He could sense each line, every difference in their grooves. He was almost there, he could feel it, the lines were almost alig- *thunk* Roads train of thought was cut off abruptly. He stumbled in shock, staring down at his chest. An arrow unlike anything he'd ever seen protruded from it. It was white like the brightest star, yet black as the night shadows. He gasped in pain, falling to his knees and dropping the box by his side. He could hear the castle guard shouting in the distance, see them pointing in his direction. He could make out a figure appearing near him. Is that Ghanderflaffle? Another wave of fresh pain hit him like a ton of bricks. He cried out in agony. No...I can't die like this...there's still so much left to do...not yet...not...he collapsed. Road lost all sense of time. Everything was a grey haze, a fuzzy cloud in which his body was trapped. Then a smooth voice pulsed in his mind. YOUR TIME IS NOT COMPLETE, FOR YOUR COMPANIONS HAVE NEED OF YOU YET. DO NOT DESPAIR, THOUGH ALL MAY SEEM LOST... THE ANSWER LIES WITHIN YOUR GRASP. TAKE HOLD. Road awoke to the sounds of war nearby. He was standing in the exact spot where he'd been struck. He looked down; the arrow was gone, and he felt no pain. He felt at his chest. There he found a thin scar, spanning several inches over his shoulder and reaching the back of his head. He looked around, still trying to process his surroundings. His mind reeled. Thousands of hideous creatures were attacking his fellow Narrators. And the castle was moving. It's funny how much you can miss when you oversleep, Road snorted. He looked down at the ground in front of him. There lay the wood box, now open and on its face. Road bent down and picked it up, revealing what it hid underneath. Laying in the grass rested a small glass tube containing...a single grain of sand? Puzzled, he inspected it. Nothing stood out to him. Road's head snapped up as he picked up cries for help in the midst of the fight. We'll worry about you later, he thought as he tucked the tube away in his pouch. He summoned his twin blades of stone and sped in the direction of his companions.
  19. Don't know yet, do you want it to be? Road suddenly remembered the man he'd witnessed out the window. How could I forget so quickly? He excused himself from the room and ran to the castle gate, where several guards stood. "There was a bloodied man laying just ahead, did you see him? Is he here?" Road shouted to them. They looked to him puzzled, shaking their heads. Road's face turned white. No... he rushed back inside. He frantically ran through the great castle walls, navigating the maze of halls and rooms and found the winding staircase to the watch tower. Up he climbed until he reached the top, searching below for the man. There was no one, save the small wooden box laying in the man's trail of blood. No no NO! His heart pounded faster with every second. Where had he gone? It could've been him, the missing piece, the... Road sank against the stone wall, the wind through his course blonde hair. How could he have been so careless... The box. Road cursed and ran back down the stairs.
  20. Road smiled to himself. This Xino is resilient, he'll point them in the right direction.
  21. "Because our hopes beg us to," said Road out loud to himself. But are our hopes in our best interest?
  22. Road turned away from the Queen's present conversation, dismissing his mug. He walked toward the stained-glass windows that lined the throne room and peered through one, lost in Thought. Our list of Narrators grows short. They needed allies, and a way to fight this newfound threat. Swift we must be for whatever comes next. Road inhaled deeply, then let out a weary sigh. He didn't yet know his part to play in all of this, but did the others? Do they know what they're capable of...what we're capable of? His eyes rested on the horizon, then slowly fell to the ground. There, slowly crawling across the ground, was a man clutching a small wood box. A path of blood painted the ground behind him.
  23. Narrator Road took a sip from his $1.75 thrift store World's Best Narrator mug and thought to himself, So it begins...so soon... Since he took his place as the Queen's cup bearer, he had suspected things were not as they seemed. Their current situation was too good, and that always meant something evil lurked nearby. Why now? he thought, watching the Queen talk to Shadow. Our story has just begun...could it be someone within the Company of Narrators?
  24. This whole Starry (Star story) has me laughing my head off ha ha.
