Your roasts will be due Thursday (which is my first full day of school, which I am just now realizing is going to murder me, so I won’t really be able to check until that evening. Yay junior year.) Thanks for playing @Truthless of Shinovar. There will only be two more rounds to this tournament. The next one will be the three remaining players against each other. Only one will be eliminated. The remaining two will continue to the finals. I will get the next round set up in a couple hours when I have more time.

    So I’m doing a reread of Oathbringer and at the beginning of Shallan's chapter The Girl Who Looked Up she is thinking about the tower. She says something about the tower being a skeleton and the strata being veins. Here's the paragraph: That got me thinking about how Urithiru might have been like a fabrial and all that. From there I started comparing it to a body. If the gemstone tower is the heart, then what if the strata is actually gemstones that are like veins. They carry Stormlight. That would provide illumination and spread Stormlight throughout the tower. I don’t know if this would actually be possible, but it got me really excited when I thought about it. I just found some more evidence. At one point Shallan mentions that the strata has an emerald cast. “An alien color for stone.” I doubt the strata would have been heavily researched. It is often described of having a red cast, which could be ruby.

    In that case, possibly. We don’t know enough about the Purelake to really identify it in Shadesmar.

    I don’t think so. Judging by the descriptions of Shadesmar, we have the cold looking sun and the clouds leading towards it. If you look closely at the background the “sea” looks almost like beads.

    I think it's something from Warbreaker, not his sword. I don’t think it's Nightblood, but if you look at the rocks there's a rainbow coming off of it.

    427a. If you hear a noise in the woods, do not go towards it. 427b. If you happen to ignore rule 427a, make sure you charge the noise as quickly as possible to surprise whatever is hiding there. 427c. Rule 427b is void if the noise is a loved one's voice.
