  1. But he didn't know what to do with all the holes and they started to fill the room.
  2. Welcome! ALWAYS trust the cookie
  3. Final Empire, it was my first dive into the Cosmere. (Always accept any baked goods offered to you)
  4. When you get joy from freaking out your friends by talking about kandra, mistwraiths, and Inquisitors. When you are talking about books and suddenly scream EVERYONE HERE SHOULD READ BRANDON SANDERSON and get annoyed when someone says "Who?"
  5. Welcome! I warn you against spoilers in case you haven't read some books, but there's stuff here for everyone! And I must say, ALWAYS accept any baked goods you are offered!
  6. Welp, you're ahead of me in Cosmere, I mostly stick to Alcatraz and Reckoners sections on here as I have only read Mistborn (and I am planning on getting into Alloy of Law, just have to wait for the library) but welcome!
  7. On his website there is a "secret project," which could be virtually anything. I don't think it's Rithmatist but that's always a possibility.
  8. Must I repeat myself? ALWAYS accept the baked goods, ignore this non-believer.
  9. She already reads comsmere, but we love talking Potter and Sanderson (mainly Mistborn, I haven't gotten into Stormlight yet)
  10. When you check out Rithmatist just to force it on your mother to read and she finishes it in a day. Me: "See? Good wasn't it?" Mom: "Yea, now I can your need for a sequel" Me: "Alright, now I'll check you out Steelheart, have fun!"
  11. Welcome! I would love to join you in your quest to revive Alcatraz on this website. Also, ALWAYS ACCEPT THE BAKED GOODS. I helped make them, it was a great bonding experience. So have a cookie.
  12. And it is beautiful
  13. When you give someone a "To Read Booklist" that is almost nothing but Sanderson.
  14. I have, I added the reread of Rithmatist to the list while I wait for Alloy of Law.
  15. I feel like this fits here... Credit to @Kal-Eldin
  16. I met a person on a discord server who liked Sanderson, it was great. Sadly the only people that are close to me that I know like Sanderson is my Mom (who got me into Mistborn and I'm trying to get her to read Steelheart) and my brother (who got me into Alcatraz but doesn't like long books, so he won't read Mistborn or any Cosmere books)
  17. Welcome to the group! I joined recently too, having just finished Mistborn. I also read Alcatraz, (still waiting for that last one, it'll be out eventually) The Rithmatist, and the Reckoners series. I also warn you against spoilers, which can be annoying. Happy reading! And have fun with Mistborn (it's my favorite)
  18. Yea I've noticed, I'm planning on starting Alloy of Law after I finish The Forest of Hands and Teeth which won't take me long and War Storm which will take a lot longer
  19. I really liked when Sanderson blew my mind. Wait, that's every book. I do like the Oreseur-TenSoon thing.
  20. Hello fellow Sanderfans, I'm excited to join all of you! I recently finished The Hero of Ages, which was my first dive into the Cosmere. Let's keep going on our exploring the universe of Sanderson, even when it is way over our heads.
  21. I'm currently finishing Victoria Aveyard's War Storm but I then plan to move on to The Forest of Hands and Teeth by Carrie Ryan then jump right back into Sanderson with the Mistborn prequels.
  22. 1. For the first four, two weeks. (Because I was a 5th grader and still slow at reading) 2. At least 3, but for some reason my public library doesn't have the second one. What secrets does it hold? 3. The book has been confiscated from me before because of how late I was reading. (3 am is my record)
  23. A couple of questions because I need some true Sanderfan sarcastic replies. 1. (About) How long did it take you to read Alcatraz the first time (and how many were out at that time) 2. How many times have you re-read Alcatraz? 3. How long did the "fictional books" keep you awake at night?
  24. Great, this sounds like fun
