  1. 372. I think you might have a different version, since malatium is on 374 for me.
  2. It would be awesome, so that's my going theory.
  3. That's not what my MAG says Regardless, I trust the WoB on this (wildcard, any other spike) over the adventure game. The game gets inquisitor spikes wrong, for instance.
  4. Brandon has said there are multiple kinds of spren, so really no single theory should encompass all of them.
  5. Circles? BAH! Real men use curves of constant width! At least they do if they want to keep it Releaux!
  6. Yeah I looked again and couldn't find it. Must have imagined it.
  7. Well, here's a response to a similar question:
  8. Think of it like doing an organ transplant to give someone a third kidney. You want to hook it into the right things, or all sorts of nonsense will happen. Here's one of the epigraphs about it.
  9. It's been officially confirmed as a coincidence (Ati the Aon was named after a girl named Matisse who did an Elantris diorama thingy, IIRC). They're even pronounced differently - not that anyone would notice.
  10. Atium can steal any ability, and is better at stealing them than any other spike. You probably read that it was temporal - that's the inquisitors' screwup, not yours..
  11. Note that 'ati' is an elantrian aon for 'hope', but it's completely unrelated to the nice and caring guy also named 'Ati'.
  12. There's a discussion on hemalurgy here. How the spike was used to kill the guy matters, yeah. I figure Ruin and Sazed would know enough about hemalurgy, and neither of them thought you could steal multiple powers from a mistborn (hence the whole duraluminum or atium spike limit).
  13. Close enough for puns.
  14. Ah, great. Did he confirm a singular bead as well, or did he just say 'lerasium'?
  15. Cool! Quick question: did he use the word 'focus' or 'intent'?
  16. Also, a dumb theory He was dictating. Honor is stuck in the highstorms, and now the Broken One rains
  17. Okay, let me try to use my mental powers to figure these out. I mean, we should have enough info to deduct what Spook would say about the subject, right Ow my... tasting I the copper... lying to the go down
  18. Kaladin's name was changed 90% of the way into Stormlight archive, and he was named that because it would sound like Paladin. So this doesn't seem particularly likely.
  19. Well, we know it's related to the black smoke that nightblood emits when it destroy stuff.
  20. And apparently it's effective; if deathspren were just attracted to death Syl wouldn't have any reason to stab them. Even before he gets handed some spheres, Kaladin is enduring his wounds far better than he has any right to.
  21. The thing is, deathspren are described as whispering things from Kaladin's PoV, and Syl is clearly doing something to keep him alive. If it weren't for magical intervention he probably *would* be a few seconds before death. I think deathspren might even be the medium for the messages, actually. I mean they have to come from somewhere.
  22. When Vasher took away that girl's memories, did he end up able to remember everything that happened while she was kidnapped?
  23. Aluminum is probably a better choice for storing an alternate identity.
  24. Hey, upon rereading, I noticed this in Kaladin's delirious fever section Dude's seeing deathspren two paragraphs later. I have to wonder if this is a death cry happening for Kaladin.
