  1. Conditions to use Forms, like gender, are totally cool. I had that in mind from the beginning and may put one up once I remember to write it. Oh, I felt Ambro should be messed with after his encounter with the merchant.
  2. I've heard it described as hard to follow. That alone has upped my chances of seeing it. When people say this it either means "plot is complicated" or "plot is subtle", which I like. That's why Inception sits in my top 5 favorite movies. EDIT: Or there's the "plot is convoluted and stupid" path, but that's not something I worry about. I prefer a movie to be too plot heavy rather than too little.
  3. That's like being asked to help run the internet. We must be careful to not upset Eero from now on! No more lurker jokes!
  4. And a person appears out of the ether! Dang! I wasn't trying to be mean, honest! I can tell you have quite the future here, a whole topic talking about you before you even knew this place was even here! I expect great things from you, terrible but great. This is kinda awkward, lawlhey.
  5. What I'm wondering is whether or not there'll be automobiles, they've already established trains. Allomancer car chases! FTW
  6. The man drops the rope, his hands jerking into the air, shaking like leaves in the wind. "L-look, please don't take my boat, it's all I've got." He voice shakes and he sniffs every few words, like he's been crying. Something else has upset this man, something that's not you.
  7. Reminds me of the theories being thrown around just before Harry Potter 7 came out. Though most of that was based on literary things like allegory and symbolism, which turned out to be total crap once the book came out, but actually had some pretty cool ideas. This is like that, but with actual FACTS rather than literary bullcrap. XP I laughed so hard at that, and mocked him over IM about it, along with other snippets. I also debunked one theory he'd been holding onto, using the power of Annotations!Mistborn RPG, I'd love to get my hands on that. I bet the mechanics of pushing and pulling are really difficult to turn into dice rolls, though. I love how you basically assume that Preservation had absolutely nothing to do with the stuff he was actually the main cause of. It'll be awesome when we can look back on stuff like this for Stormlight Archive books. It'll probably be me putting up the long list of bunk theories for people to snicker at. Can't wait. XD
  8. As a left handed person, this is kinda horrifying.
  9. Jon Snow next. This ones gonna be tough. Just looking at this stuff I can tell he's a big contender, but we WILL WIN!
  10. It's a Cognitive interaction.
  11. NO! Politics ruin online stuff! It makes people all tense! And by people I mean ME! Duh, both. Or neither, whichever is more balanced. But the question becomes which is Preservation and which is Ruin. I have sown the seeds of the Last Desolation in the form of the MOST DEVASTATING FLAMEWAR OF ALL TIME!
  12. Wow, that sucks.
  13. I find this incredibly funny. The game stuck in the definition of Development Hell and then Saved delayed AGAIN. I won't be surprised if it goes on to be delayed for ANOTHER fifteen years. I doubt it, but hey, it could happen. But in the end, I don't care about this game either way. Mwahaha.
  14. "The Ghost of Henry Miller" by my Uncle Pat. A clever little country sorta song about the ghost of a rich guy. I love his CD, especially the song he wrote when I was born. I may be biased but it's a good song! Ha! Vengeance!
  15. I'd disagree with that. I want the hardback. Mainly because I really like hardback books, they are SO much better than paperbacks, mainly because they don't start looking like crap so fast. Well, it's about time he finished it. I think the reason that Brisingr didn't work is precisely because it wasn't the end, it wasn't originally going to exist on its own and suffered for it. I think the last one will return to form.
  16. I love Nexuspalm (for obvious reasons). Alyx gets 5 AWESOME POINTS!
  17. "Items, there's a strange conundrum to them, they tend to be in very dangerous spots. Spots that sometimes require power to get to, power that comes from items. A catch 22, if you get my meanin'." He gives you an odd look. "Making components from scratch? Not something the typical Spheremorph goes in for, or anyone, for that matter. The problem is materials. No one's really sure what they're made of, and can't seem to find any more of the stuff. Makes ya wonder how they made 'em in the first place. A man of my skills uses already existing materials, true skill lies in creativity for a Spheresmith. Except for the Grids, of course, just need a bit a magisteel for that."
  18. Does it have to point to my political party as the stupid one? I realize it's supposed to be comedy, but it just rubs me the wrong way.
  19. Dor control system. TWIST!
  20. Yeaaaah. He needs to get his terms straight.
  21. I've liked your posts so far, though Elatris has actually been moved more into the limelight in terms of theories since WoK came out. Get on that! And welcome! Glad to have you here!
  22. It's actually the other way around, it's the lurking you shouldn't even attempt, the posting is the reasonable goal. Welcome!
  23. Marketplace, Crook of the Plains - Eerongal Your eyes latch onto a splash of color, the vibrant blue green of a curtain on a mobile stand. It sticks out from the rest of market as actually being clean. It has the appearance of a typical travelling merchant, with various wares hung on hooks from the open doors of the stand and draped across various places on the cart. It doesn't seem to have as many wares as a typical merchant and is still attached to a horse, probably precautions against thievery or violence in the area. The merchant has a large smile, but not as stable as you would expect from a merchant, nervous. Hardly atypical and probably smart of him. Not only are travelling salesmen a great place to stock up or find the occasional rare item, but they also have enough varied types of currency to allow you to trade your money out to match the place you're in. They're also experts in local knowledge and tend to know what's going on from place to place. Information is just another stock they trade.
