  1. Yeah, Mistborn era 2 is "funnier", but Bleeder's death also hit me hard I like Inheritance, but re-reading it I noticed that it really has the same plot line as Star Wars.
  2. Oh well, that kinda disproves my theory. But what if the spikes working much better came from the fact that they don't degrade? Maybe? Thanks anyway @Unlicensed Hemalurgist !
  3. I think that Hemalurgic Atium should be much more powerful, because of the resonance between Ruin's godmetals and Ruin's Metallic Art. I mean, stealing anything is neat, but not as amazingly Op as lerasium in Allomancy, which also has a strong resonance (I think?). My theories are: H-Atium spikes do not degrade H-Atium spikes can hold multiple Hemalurgic charges So I think that unless the current version of H-Atium is WoB -proven, we don't know all about it. (though it's probably already been proven because I can't find any mention of it in the series) Any of you WoB-ninjas? Help? Please?
  4. How about HanKaar, or MirNoon, or TerLin, or PlaTorn, or anything. These are pretty easy to make up
  5. I'm not the pro on Hemalurgy, but couldn't you spike yourself with multiple 'intelligence' spikes?
  6. Sorry, forgot that for a moment.
  7. @Wandering Investor Have you read Bands of Mourning? If not, don't read the spoiler: This is actually a repeating conflict between my brother and I, but I think that after a certain threshhold, steel slows down your perception of time and you can act on it, but with zinc, I always picture it as just being able to process everything so much faster, hence That's my theory, but it is strange. *hums and rubs his chin*
  8. I'm not sure what spoiler policy is for Mistborn, so I'm just gonna say that this has MAJOR Mistborn spoilers. Each Shard on Scadrial has 2 things associated to itself: a Metallic Art and a Godmetal (I'm gonna capitalize this because why not). Hemalurgy for Ruin, Allomancy for Preservation. It's fairly easy to demonstrate why Feruchemy is associated with Harmony (if you want me to explain, post Explain in the comments please because I don't have much time now) For me, Godmetals have the most powerful effect in the Metallic Art of the Shard is associated with: Lerasium makes you into the most powerful Allomancer you can be, a Mistborn. For this reason, I think the info we have about H-Atium is downplayed (I have a theory, but again, I don't have much time so post Theory down below). So, by the same logic, Harmonium/Ettmetal should do something really cool in Feruchemy. My theory is that we saw it in BoM. That's right, the primer cube. My theory is that a Feruchemist filling a Harmoniummind would somehow dampen nearby Allomantic charges of a certain metal. Like tin, you would have to use a different metalmind per Allomantic metal. Then, tapping the metalmind would replicate Allomancy, centered on the Feruchemist. Tapping it faster coyld even replicate duralumin. I think that harmonium alloys would enable you to store only Allomantic pulses of that metal. This would mean that the Southern Scadrians have discovered how to mechamize Feruchemy, which is an idea I like very much because of all the possible uses, of which I'll be happy to tell you about at length, but not now. Thoughts?
  9. When I was first reading MB 1, at the moment when Vin and Kelsier try to go in the palace for the 1st time and they run into the Inquisitors, in my head I was like "NOBODY EXPECTS THE STEEL INQUISITION" Nothing else to say bye
  10. I like Lift a lot but Wayne has his own brand of awesomeness
  11. I am a stick. I once dreamed I was Marsh and I was killing Cap'n Goradel and just before he asked me if I liked spaghetti and then I woke up
  12. I'll pass for now, because I don't wanna join anything until someone explains guilds better (sorry @StrikerEZ) but I have thought up some really twisted uses for Hemalurgy... Anyway, thanks @StrikerEZ for the nice welcome! I also really like Stormlight, since I've been rereading it and the hinting I've found is amazing.
  13. Hey guys, I've been ghost browsing the 17th Shard for some time now and I finally decided to join. I'm really excited to meet all of you Cosmere experts, and I hope we'll all have a good time. Personal info: My favorite Sanderson book so far would probs be Mistborn, because it has a really creative magic system, with Steelpushing and Ironpulling, set in a classical dystopia. I would probably be an Edgedancer I hate Moash (who doesn't) My favorite character is Tien By the way, could someone explain to me how guilds work on this forum? I read a few posts but I don't really understand... So that's it from me! Bye!
