  1. Zaphoid Beeblerock, after many years of travel, had finally arrived to the place he would come to call home. A small, dirty shack in the middle of Alleycity. There was mold on the walls, the floor was wet and Zaphoid thought he saw an insect crawling into a crack in the wall. Home sweet home. The salesman who had sold him the house had assured that there was a basement for extra space, but Zaphoid couldn't find the entrance to it. The previous owner had probably hidden it for some reason. With a sigh, Zaphoid started burning steel. Steel lines were pointing in every directions. Zaphoid ignored all of them, except for one that was pointing in the floor. He followed it and found a trapdoor that was sealed with a thick padlock hidden in the floor. Zaphoid sighed again, and flared his steel. 6 more steel lines sprouted from the one pointing towards the padlock, and he pushed on the line he knew was the right one. The lock's innards clicked, and Zaphoid pulled open the trapdoor, finding a ladder. He extinguished his steel and followed the ladder downwards. At the bottom, he found a large room in a much better shape that the shack upstairs, with walls out of concrete and Aon-powered ligt strips in the ceiling. A large worktable stood against the wall, furnished with a stock of drawing utensils and rulers. This room was why Zaphoid had spent all the money he had made for the past 2 years to buy the house. Zaphoid grinned. Home sweet home.
  2. I think that's racist...?
  3. Why are Darksiders dark-skinned? Since there is no sun it would make sense for them to be white, right? Same question but reversed for Daysiders.
  4. I picture Nightblood as a girl bruh Also, Szeth is small and Asian. I know he has round eyes, but not for my head. Rock is the great African cook, and Shallan is black(don't ask why)
  5. I'll sign up as Lightsong, the heretic of his own religion!
  6. @Cyanic Zaphoid was shaking from the effort when the creature he was helping asked him to continue the fight. - Sorry, but I have business to take care of. Maybe an other time? If you give me your address, I'll send you a letter. All right?
  7. Zaphoid saw his opponent rush to the fallen Dreadnought. - Not my problem, he started, and turned away to leave. But he didn't know anyone around here. Maybe it would be smart to get allies, or even friends. - Oh, rust it! Zaphoid turned around yet again and flew towards the strange metal carcass. He then noticed that it didn't give off any Allomantic lines. Aluminum, he thought. Why does everyone here have aluminum? Makes it a lot harder to save people. He landed next to his opponent, who seemed to be stabbing the wounded person inside. That was when Zaphoid saw the spikes. Rusts! He had a repulsive fear of spikes. Terrible things. Reminded him of his grandmother. He prepared to attack the stranger stabbing the wounded person, when he saw the spiked creature was cutting through the aluminum with his strange blade of his. He asked the spikedude: - How can I help?
  8. Anticipating the hulking man's strike, Zaphoid started filling his ironmind until he weighed almost nothing and jumped up and backward. As he floated away, he Pushed on the metal braces that kept the walls of the arena up to keep from smashing in a wall, and slowed down to a standstill. He then drew the bladeless knives he carried with him, that were meant to incapacitate, not to kill. It was a duel, after all. He Pushed on the stumps and sent them flying towards the man.
  9. Zaphoid, hearing the newcomer speak, turned around and fell into an Allomancer's crouch. *insert Matrix-style hand gesture* - I'm waiting. First one to get a hit wins.
  10. Suddenly, a dark shape fell from the sky and landed with such a force that the pavement cracked. The figure raised it's black hood. Beneath it was the face of a young man with blue eyes and dark hair. He exclaimed: - My name is Zaphoid Beeblerock and I'm here to kick some butt! Who wants to fight me? Come on and try and hit me!
  11. I actually thought that Kenton died on Taldain before Khriss left and I'm guessing that she was there at Luthadel's founding, and then somehow influenced the Lord Ruler (or some other person) into naming the Street that way. I'm not saying that Kenton had any part in the proceedings, just that, knowing Brandon, it probably isn't a coincidence.
  12. Hello, fellow Sharders. I seek other bilingual Sharders, to rage about the French (or German) translations of certain terms.
  13. Ok... That was not the point of this post tho
  14. There is a Kenton Street in Luthadel. Khriss. What did you do to Kenton. My idea is that Kenton died, and that Khriss was there while Luthadel was built, then wrote down Kenton Street as a memorial to him. Thoughts?
  15. I hope he finishes all his books before he dies
  16. I can see Stick's speech: I am a stick. He can only win.
  17. What about tapping pewter in a weightlifting competition? Storing weight when the doctor weighs you? Filling strength so people think you're weak, and then beating them up when their guard is down (aka police fight)
  18. *takes out harmonium bombs* Oh dear, we're gonna blow up Alleycity all over again...
  19. Whenever my character does a sick trickshot, in my head it's Xenogenesis by TheFatRat
