    No preservation is not change. He statis, he is the opposite of ruin who is change. I do see what you mean by experience it fits cultivation but it just doesn't fit Ruin. It needs to fit both for it to be a combination. But perhaps something similar could work Like Life or Age.

    Not destructive enough. Cultivation is positive change, ruin is negative change so them combined should have aspect of them both.

    There industrial revolution. children refers to the children of soul (what are shap shifting fish people call themselves). You can't have fire under the sea so the heat stones serve as a work around allowing them to industrialize.

    Ok now I'm confused how did ishar have Adhesion on ashin? I assumed that any manipulation of connection would be considered Adhesion, but you might have a point. Still it does appear to be similar at least.

    1. No you are wrong, the fused can not uses Abhesion. But odium still can, he gave this ability to ishar after all. 2. We see both regals and unmade with Adhesion. 3.     Gavalar is a unreliable narrator. I wouldn't acpect his opinion on the gods. You have a good point about the songs. Someone should ask Brandon. Still considering that the hole point of the songs was to prevent them from summon the gods it would be odd for them to not include "they will kill you and steal your body ". Wars do not equal desolation necessarily. We know BoM commanded the singers and by that logic the fused don't grant forms of power against there will. So it couldn't be them.

"Spren aren't souls of ancient" yes there souls (self aware investiture) and there ancient. So the description still applies. 6. We don't know that nothing says that the singers and humans lived in peace pre false desolation. Considering that BoM was connect to all the singers I think we can speculate That humans and singers were still in conflict after the desolations.

I would like to remind you that the listeners Left their gods 2000 years after fused stopped coming to roshar. It wouldn't make sense for them to be so prominent in the songs. And if they were surely venli Would have Not been deceived so easily.
