Lift?

I find this hilarious because I've experienced the same thing. My dad also listens to Stormlight Archive and is also mad about the length and also forgets the plot. For some reason I thought Stormlight was only going to be three bools long when I forced him to try it. He was not happy to find out it's actually going to be 10. Yet when words of radiance came out he started it right away. And when I told him about edge dancer he listened to that too. I haven't met any one yet who refuses to read it, but my whole family complains about the length, asking me questions like "Arnt there any independent ones? I don't want to read a whole series".

I normally use Ellumous, who is my main OC (written stories about her, used her in D&D etc.) But I've started trying new things. I've been reading Squirrel Girls comics recently and I found her very relatable. But I also wanted a Cosmere related username. Lift is one of my favorite characters from Stormlight, and I like to think if I lived in that world Is be an Edgedancer. Obviously Edgedancer was taken, so I decided to throw Squirrel Girl in. Sums up my personality pretty well.

I really want to reread (well, relisten) to storm light, but I've never been able to reread or relisten to anything before, because I already know what happens, and I feel like I'm waiting time since there's so many other unread books I could be reading. Anyway, maybe if I'm second time listening is like that, I'll be able to do it, so thanks!

No dust covers. (I have physical copies of the books to because I like to read along as I listen to the audio, plus audio books don't have pictures). Anyway I almost always take off the dust covers, I like how it makes the book look like some old grimoire you'd find in an abandoned library of magic books.

Thanks, defiantly would not give my breath away, I mean its basically magic, which I've spent my life hunting for, even though 1 breath isn't much, its something, and its worth keeping. But if your willing to give your breath (of breaths) away id gladly take it (or them). My favorite book is a hard one. I really like stormlight (I don't think I could pick a favorite book form the series), but I finished Elantris not that long ago, and I cant stop thinking about it. But now, I'm not sure which I like more, Elantris or Warbreaker. Yet I also want to choose Mistborn becuase I love Vin. Well, I don't like the Wax and Wane books as much, I think that's just because I'm still a bit mad at certain events in mistborn I wont spoil. Ok I choose Stormlight as my favorite. It has the most character that I love. Which leads the the favorite character question. Vin, of course is a favorite, along with Eland and TenSoon. (BTW sorry if I miss spell names, I listened to the books so I'm kinda guessing on most of the spelling). I Also love Shallan, and Lift. Wit (or Hoid) is a favorite. I'd say my overall favorite is Lift, but Shallan and Vin are both close seconds.

I've always listened to his book (I love the way Michael Kramer, Kate reading, and Jack Garrett narrate). I was just wondering how many other do the same, or how many prefer to read the book on there own.

I'm not exactly the best at talking on the internet (or in real life for that matter), but I figured if I'm going to give it a try it should be with others who like Brandon Sanderson. I was first introduced to Brandon Sanderson two years ago with The Way of Kings. I was blown away, to say the least. Once I learned of the cosmere, my excitement only grew. I was, well, am determined to find any and all connections with in his books. As of now, I have read The Way of Kings, Words of Radiance, Oath Bringer, The Final Empire, The Well of Ascension, The Hero of Ages, The Alloy of Law, War Breaker, Elantris, Arcanum Unbounded, and White Sand Volume 1. I am currently reading both White Sand Volume 2, and Shadows Of self. On the one hand, I'm so close, I've almost read them all, on the other hand, what am I going to read when I finish?
